What comes to space travel being impossible because your brains shut down when you leave the magnetic field... that's interesting but I have a question.
Geologists and archaeologists know that Earth's magnetic field resets at periods. Several times magnetic poles changed their place, reversing the magnetic field.
Now, before the magnetic field resets, it weakens (which is measured happening currently) and practically disappears. How did lifeforms on Earth survived that then?
If you father Corso wasn't lying, then the object was not built by humans. A more likely scenario is that it was desinged by an ultra intelligent machine and staffed with cyborgs.
Mr. Corso Jr., you are a human being. You are not a cyborg. You are not an ultra-intelligent machine. These being are not human as commonly defined.
He is talking about deep space travel, as in between stars.
The word "cyborg", short for "Cybernetic Organism" was coined by Manfred Clynes and Nathan Kline to refer to a theoretical being, part human and part machine, and specifically designed for space travel.
"According to Einstein you can only go backwards" (reference to time travel)
Absolutley false. Travel to the future is realtively easy. You only need to travel at the right speeds. The fast one travels, compared to a stationary object, the slower time occurs. Ex- A person gets on a rocket and travels at the speed of light for 1 light year out and then 1 light year back. 2 years would have passed for the man but when he gets back home, hundreds of years would have passed on earth.
This is called "time dilation". Einstein's Theory of Relativity predicts this.
Travel to the past is possible, however it requires more exotic technology.
When this guy claims that Einstein says you can only go to the past, he is 100% wrong. Guess what? This isn't the only thing this idiot has been wrong on.
Anybdoy with the slightest education in science can easily pick out the errors made by this guy.
Yeah, "time travel" forward is possible if you go near to a great mass object (like a black hole) or travel very, very fast. But that's not "time travel" in a sense of jumping from one point to another. It is just that time travels more slowly to you than some other people. Thus it's getting to the future you wouldn't otherwise live to see. But consept of time traveling is different.
