Yo soy fan de Prost pero tambien de Senna y Mansell, cada uno era carísmatico con su forma de ser y estilo de conduccion totalmente diferente y en cuanto a la calidad de piloto estaban en el mismo nivel, lo que no me gusta es que se diga que Senna estaba por encima de sus rivales y la prueba está que un año ganaba Prost al otro Piquet al otro Senna y al otro Mansell, no hubo un dominador claro en la época dorada de la F1, otra cosa es que fuese el más carismático y mediático.
En 1988 y 1989 Prost consiguió batir a Senna en las 2 temporadas consiguiendo siempre más puntos que Senna.

Solo el injusto sistema de puntuación de aquella epoca en la que no ganaba el que mas puntos tenía provoco que Senna fuera campeón en 1988 Prost 105 (87),Senna 94 (90)
Senna ganó más carreras que Prost en 1989, el sistema de puntuación se modificó, pero para la temporada 2009 se volverán a contar carreras(más que puntuación). Está bien que seas fan de Prost(yo tambien soy fan de Prost), pero Senna se ganó el corazón de la gente por entregarse en la pista. El que haya ganado "más títulos" no lo hace mejor, porque en ese caso Schumacher sería mejor que los dos juntos, y sabemos que eso no es cierto.
Algo que tenía Prost en su contra era que no sabía cuando reservarse sus comentarios, eso lo metió en problemas con Renault y después con Ferrari(cuando estás con un equipo, debes apoyarlo aunque el equipo esté mal, algo que no hizo Prost). Later, my mother came into my room and told me and my brothers that Senna just died. We all began to cry. I can never forget that day. I will NEVER forget Ayrton Senna!! Lulafan, maybe what u tell is right in absolute terms, but Senna doesn't keep the total of that money for himself only. Please read the Senna files,for example on Wikipedia,you will find that Ayrton gave a part of his earnings in beneficence,for example to aid the poor people that lives in the favelas in Sao Paulo. After he died, his sister Viviane created a foundation to continue this work. And so in general, I think you might have respect for a died person.

May 1 1994 prevented the greatest records ever in the history of world sport! As it stands, few outside motorsport realize Senna was the greatest sportsman of all-time. Had he finished his career it would have been clear to the whole World. That's what the World really lost on May 1, 1994.

I wonder how that guy could live his life and even looking himself at the mirror earning that amout of money, which a big part came from the cancer industry? yeah i agree with cutterslade. i was 16 at the time and i remember watching the whole thing unfold at my mum and dad's house. i don't know, there was something about senna, different, i loved him and was so sad for days, weeks.

I remember that 1st may of 1994 still so clear. I was 13 then and Senna was my biggest idol. My whole family was so worried after the crash. Later, my mother came into my room and told me and my brothers that Senna just died. We all began to cry. I can never forget that day. I will NEVER forget Ayrton Senna!! He's still alive because Millions of people still remember him as the great human beeing and fearless driver he was!! Rest in Peace Senna. Rest in Peace.

watching the funeral footage always makes me cry, I was one of those in that crowd by the road that day.......watching this videos has me in tears again. Acho que a formula foi somente uma ponte pra ele nos mostrar que com fé em Deus, força de vontade e dedicação qualquer pessoa pode conseguir o que quiser. Nos mostrou que pode-se ajudar ao próximo sem querer aparecer na midia e fazer isso de boa vontade, com amor. Não tenho adjetivo pra descrever uma pessoa que é mais do que um ídolo, mais do que um mito !!!
