@ashtobro1 i had the same problem, basically what you need to do is when it says skip add instead of left clicking on it right click it. scroll down to copy link location then paste it on the address bar and go. that should do it

When will the Shock, Aether and Player mods be updated to 1.2.3, if they already have, where can I find them? The Audio and Modloader are currently 1.2.3 but the rest are not so when I tested it out with the older version of the 3 not updated, I got a BLACK SCREEN!! this is my second attempt and fail at the aether mod.

I did everything it told me to, I deleted .minecraft, deleted Meta-Inf, put all 5 different mods in the proper locations and after all that, nothing changed and my aether portal didn't work, the water just flowed out.

My minecraft version is 1.1, it might need to be updated or I didn't buy the game, are any of those 2 the problem?

EVERYONE! look at the name of the player API file, it says 1.7.3 in it. Also, notice his version is 1.7.3, coincidence? I think not! Lastly, the wiki article with this says the latest compatible version is 1.0.0. not 1.1

This mod hasent been updated for 1.8, 1.0.0 and 1.1.0 You need a fresh 1.7.3 jar. Remeber this is an older version, search on google how to downgrade.

if you got a black screen you either are so bad at copying and pasteing that your computer tried to kill itself and fail but remove a bunch of minecraft files or you forgot to delete meta-inf which is a folder containing all the anti modding files

Ok all, check out the aether mod thread, right above the actual link to download the mod it says

"There is also one known bug with the current menu: it seems that, because of the way we load the menu music, it has a 2-4 second stall upon opening Minecraft. It's not a huge delay, but sometimes it may be confused with a blackscreen. It actually isn't, you just need to wait a few seconds for the menu to do its thing."
