I could not even get 3rd to come loose if I dumped the clutch at redline and flat foot shifted from a dig and mine is also stage 2 with bald ass tires. So unless you know something I don't doubtful it will burn up 3rd
the video was horrible. did not prove anypoint to having nos. put it in 5th gear at 60 mphs then turn on nos and gun it thats how we'll know is the real deal.. you were burning up tires in low gears i do that with my stage 2 in second gear all day long.. BS VIDEO u wish u had Nitrous.
Because the speedo sensor is in the rear wheels, so when the revs jump and he spins out (or that ESP yellow light is blinking) the car really isn't going any faster. The problem with this video is that he is spinning out at 40mph which is really easy to do in a gti, even a stock one. He should show the road a little, cause he could just be on a wet road.

No offense, but my Neuspeed tuned MKV gti will wheel spin at those speeds, and I'm not putting out anywhere near to the HP, and LBTQ that you say you are. In fact last night it spun (on winter tires) in 4th gear going 65mph. I can get mine to spin 3rd gear with Potenza's in the dead of summer going 60mph. MKV GTI 252whp and 310lbtq
haha it does. I have an 07 GTI and trust, the torque is extreme. Although VW has pretty much tuned out the torque steer, so it's handling stays intact while you haul ass. I believe the stock stats are 200hp, 207ft-lbs of torque. Drive one, you won't be dissapointed
@rightcoastbias Why would you want a full gas tank for light to light racing? Hmm.. I can run with 3 gallons of gas... or I can run with 16... Gasoline is 6lbs a gallon, you do the math.
Our nitrous system uses two seperate fuel sources as you cannot tap into the factory fueling on the new GTI's. There was still about a gallon and half in the tank during the video, much lower than that and it could run dry, but that goes to show how safe we have this setup.
Nos is fail on any vw...

Actually, the GTI's DSG transmission shifts in 8 miliseconds. It's a dual clutch transmisison.

Thats is why you probably need gas because you gun the GTI. When you floor it, it uses more gas then if you just rev it to 4,000 RPM.

1. We left traction control on to show how much it loses traction and how unaffected the car is by the ECU controlling wheel spin with nitrous.
2. Car had about a gallon and a half of fuel left at the time of filming the light was on due to mileage was so low due to WOT all night long.
3. That was a dry night with KDWS on the car with a poor camera (as you can tell) I can hear what you think is wet roads, I assure you it is not.
