    You don't have to know her personally to SEE she's not doing this like a professional trainer would.

    She may be a "wannabe trainer" or maybe she's trying to be, but this video is such a fail that it shows her lack of ability.

    As for those who talk about the slippery surface; an experienced trainer knows you have to choose your location wisely.

    After muscle fatigue in the arms, it is GOOD to go to the knees instead of struggling like a flopping fish.

    It is the correct method to continue doing pushups in the proper form for the arms.

    Fact is, I did NOT hear that initially, but I let it stand, because, if she had such an injury as to force KNEE push-ups, why is she using such a shoddy technique and continuing to work out on a floor where the bases are sliding every which way?

    Her poor technique and the sliding all over belies the notion she had to favor her shoulder to that degree.

    If I had a bad shoulder, I'd be a lot more concerned about the lack of stability here than doing a real push-up PROPERLY.

  • This a cool technique - get a certain # of reps within a certain amount of time, in no more than X sets. It sets the goal, but leaves the pacing up to the individual. Would be great to see others trying out this test, if available! On the downside (as others have said), video work left something to be desired :)

  • her arms shouldn't bend outwards, but remain parallel to the side of the body.

  • You don't need to remain parallel to your body in order for it to be an official push up. There is more then one way you can do a push up you know...

  • i know, but her arms do stick out abit too much. Don't that put unnessesary pressure on your joints, and lightens load on the chest, thats from personal experience anyways.

  • she wasn't going close enough to the ground with her chest near the end. Well thats what happens with a shoulder injury I guess. By the way she didn't do the wide or the close pushup, that ain't no Navy seal style to me! I doubt she's a trainer by the way. Trainers tend to be more commanding in order to teach people how to work out.

    pressure on them.........she may have been loosening up here and there

  • if the bottom of the equipment gets dirty...obviously it will slide...wipe off the dust and junk and it'll grip nicely.
