I'm not necessarily against the "free" market...though note that classical market theory is problematic when all sectors of the US economy are controlled by just a few very large players. I'm against a particular type of market that tends to become predatory...and has led directly to the kind of mess we see today. There will be better rules and smarter regulation to come out of this fiasco...and government policy and law that incentivizes sustainable economics. I favor this type of marketplace.

I do not agree with Obama policy on so many levels, NONE of which have to do with his skin color. From partial birth abortion to gay marriage to using federal money to fund the creation and destruction of embryos for stem cell research. you do realize partial birth abortions are only performed on cases where the child has severe medical problems such as hydrocephaly. Hydrocephaly can be treated if caught very very quickly, however if the child has been affected for much of the time in gestation, they will be lucky to live past their first couple months. You would be hard done by to find a doctor in the first world who would preform a partial birth abortion on a mother who just changed their mind.
I was faced with the possibilty of my child having Down's or Trisomy 18. I was told that she might only live a few hours with the Trisomy. They begged me to have amnio, so that I could abort it. We still refused. Thank God, she was/is healthy!
To us, she was a blessing no matter her condition. EVEN a baby with birth defects doesn't deserve a death like a partial birth abortion.

Wade was passed here) shouldn't effect the laws in other states because they have the right to not have abortion laws. I'm not necessarily against the "free" market...though note that classical market theory is problematic when all sectors of the US economy are controlled by just a few very large players. I'm against a particular type of market that tends to become predatory...and has led directly to the kind of mess we see today. There will be better rules and smarter regulation to come out of this fiasco...and government policy and law that incentivizes sustainable economics. I favor this type of marketplace.

I do not agree with Obama policy on so many levels, NONE of which have to do with his skin color. From partial birth abortion to gay marriage to using federal money to fund the creation and destruction of embryos for stem cell research. you do realize partial birth abortions are only performed on cases where the child has severe medical problems such as hydrocephaly. Hydrocephaly can be treated if caught very very quickly, however if the child has been affected for much of the time in gestation, they will be lucky to live past their first couple months. You would be hard done by to find a doctor in the first world who would preform a partial birth abortion on a mother who just changed their mind.

I was faced with the possibilty of my child having Down's or Trisomy 18. I was told that she might only live a few hours with the Trisomy. They begged me to have amnio, so that I could abort it. We still refused. Thank God, she was/is healthy!
To us, she was a blessing no matter her condition. EVEN a baby with birth defects doesn't deserve a death like a partial birth abortion.

There are good arguments on both sides but my main point is that the abortion laws here in Texas (Roe v. Wade was passed here) shouldn't effect the laws in other states because they have the right to not have abortion laws. I hope that you would at least agree partial-birth abortion is horrendous and gruesome. Maybe abortion is the first trimester or first couple of weeks is ok and in cases of rape but to kill a fetus with all organs and nearly fully functional is murder.
