I'd have to say that Lennon ( and McCartney ) DO generally get the credit they deserve as being arguably the greatest songwriting team in human history. However , there are times when I'm not sure if they REALLY do get the credit deserved. This song that John wrote ..... from a musician's point of view ..the chord progression alone .. is so brilliant. Staggering , the music that they had in their heads.
This movie kicks ass. The longing of those boys for girls that were always just out of reach.......and they're still haunted by them after all the years that have gone by.
And the song "Julia" is fantastic to go along with pics from the movies.
The Beatles song, "She's Leaving Home," would go perfect with Virgin Suicides clips .
