@PuYanHui firebox? mate you don't have a clue! the fire is made inside the oven and there is no such thing as 'too thick' its a base for the oven ffs. The stand can be used to store wood and oven tools.

There's no justification for a firebox that big for such a tiny pizza oven.
Also your slab between the two is far too thick.
