when I was young I found that most of the Icelandic school age children spoke Icelandic, most did very well in Danish, many spoke some English and some German. I would imagine that those are still the 4 prominent languages but they have jostled each other for second place and many more young people speak foreign languages today. Thanks to Lifestyle for posting this. All very lovely girls. It is scary for me to think they are so lovely but I am old enough to have dated their Ammas.( big smile)
