  • There is just something deeply historical about hearing the the word "Contact" in an English accent.

  • Why do we have to have anti spinning stakes on the old DH-82A. And were are the slats on the top wing. I think pilots have gone soft with these warm fuzz ie extras. The Tiger was a great aeroplane without the stakes and it sure needs the lockable slats on the top wing.Without them you cant fly the Tiger properly. Why be afraid of spinning.

  • I've flew one of these vintage Tiger Moths at Duxford air museum. I had a Pilot with me since I do not have a pilots license but it was incredible. So far one of the best experiences in my life.

  • Great aeroplane to fly. Good old undercarriage makes rough field landings smooth. Really impressive Sideslip Approach, to get in over tall trees!

  • That is pretty cool

  • beautiful !!

  • I like the description of the front seat passenger - ballast! Awesome video, great plane!

  • I had a flight in a tiger moth back in July, What an experience! Can't wait to do it again!......please!!!!!! See my facebook page!

  • Such a lovely plane. You're a lucky guy; I've always wanted to go up in a DH Tigermoth or a Stearman.

  • I flew in a Tiger Moth for my 40th back in 2005. I flew out of Redhill, fantastic experience, even had a go at flying it!

Recently took another flight this time in a DH Rapide out of Duxford, another fantastic experience! Wonderful aircraft.

  • You can't beat being in a Tigermoth, we recently had the experience of flying in one over the Gold Coast in Australia ! It was awesome!

  • Fascinating video. I last flew this plane in 1967 or 68 (not sure - mislaid my logbook) so it's great to see it still flying. See Pilot magazine Jan 2008 for an article on flying this particular aircraft. Happy landings!

  • That is real flying! 2 wings no enclosed cockpit - brill.

  • I went flying yesterday in a tiger moth at dunkeswell air ground, my grandad trained in one as well. I did many stunts ( including loop the loop the g- force was amazing!) in it over Devon and it was magnificent I'm putting a video of me taking of on here.

  • My father trained in a Tiger Moth near Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in the 1940's. Thanks so much for the video. Now where would I be able to hitch a ride on one.
