@xXS135Xx you flash a different rom and than it will overwrite this one. be sure to follow the correct steps and wipe as well as clear cache and dalvik cache before flashing.

ok so i did half of the steps for this rom dont have the supper wipe file dont know where to get it had to stop half way through the steps i was puting the files back on my sd card had to leave got back and went in to settings on my evo and unmounted sd formatted it didnt mount it back and went to recovery and now it wont let me back in to the rom i got on it it get stuck aftter the htc evo 4g screen it wont let me mount it through recovery HELP!!! it saying cant mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1

@darealbigtigger that sux. If you are having an issue you may want to post on the smartphonejunkie forums, It may be an issue that they heard of. Also try using google to search for the superwipe.zip file that you need. Hopefully you did a nandroid, or rom backup and will be able to at least flash back to that before trying this one again.

I have two things one I'm not sure if it is a bug or not the other is a request. The first is with the HTC music player it loses my place when leaving the music application.

The second thing is will there be a battery percentage option without installing a widget?

ok i got a 2.3.3 on a 2.1 sense version looks alot like this one but i dont really care for the one i got now i want to try this one out but i never have partition my sd card befor if someone could feel me in on what that does and how to do it iam still kinda new to this

@darealbigtigger From what I read the reason for partitioning the drive is so the rom runs smoothly, and all apps/widgets can then be installed on the sim card. I didn't partition my evo when I installed this rom and it is running fine. This is a large rom tho (300 megs) and you have anywhere from 70-100 MB free memory available. I use advanced task manager set to aggressive and it closes aps every time the screen closes, and I run clean with no problems. Every phone is different tho!

Alot of roms drain the battery by not allowing brightness dimming.

@tommyhamilton91 those are the older roms, all the newer ones have had that fixed for your screen type. there is 2 screen types and your just happens to be the one that it used to bug out on. im pretty sure this one has it fixed but oyu can go check out the thread linked in the description below the video to find out for sure

@gnoluvzcha2010 if you odnt know what recovery is or how to get there you arent rooted or nand bootloader unlocked. you will have to do that first and read the thread, you get stuck ask there because all the answers are in that thread and cant and wont type a novel of literally 5 plus paragraphs for the steps. if you visit the thread with the instructions you will find your answers and the same site has the tutorial for the rooting process.

I love this rom but does anyone know how to add a boot animation sound Iv've tried all the methods I can think of but can't figure it out.I did find the boot animation but I love that I just want to add some audio to it.

@iPodTouch5311 its not in rom manager and you are going to need to wipe your card as stated in the directions in the first post so no you cant. you will be able to update in the future through the spj updater app which is like rom manager but just for philly finest rom.

@rgjmg070607 nope it can be changed and never ran it long enough before i got my 3d. you can use any kernel that is made for gingerbread and sense. theres a couple of the major ones over in the development area at XDA.

1st off props on another insightful vid ...i just flashed this rom using the directions from the spj link..everything works flawlessly except i dont have any music widgets and i tried to play my mp3s from astro and its sayin file type mp3 not found???any idea what thats about???other than that this rom is excellent...but gotta have my tunes ..thanks

Trying to figure out if I need to do anything special to get started with this rom? I am rooted with the rEVOked (but not the forever version) is this considered a full root? This would be my first real rom so I'm assuming that I would ignore the maintenance updates from Sprint after these right? Hit me up if you can lend a hand with this. Thanks

Is there a posted rom with 3.0 fully working yet? It seems like there is some secret underground of these roms going around and it's really starting to irk me! Is this rom still buggy? If not why is there a video for it and why has it not been released?

@Kingthangs yes this rom and it is now official version and linked in the description below. read through the thread for more reviews and details from the users. and it has been released to beta testers and all you had to do was ask in the thread and you would have got like all the others.

question why are you runnning wireless tether on this rom?. on my deodex 2.33 root i just use the sprint hotspot and it works...

@leoktracho you have to be patient, you asked twice within 40 minutes. im a human not a robot that can reply within minutes. as the video mentioned and the reply below mentioned to the other person already you can go to the thread linked in the description below the video (just checked and it is there) and request a beta to be private messaged to you. once it becomes official and out of beta the link will be updated to have the new link for the download without having to request.
