This video, like all of the others of the so called sun miracle, is a fraud. It is obvious that this "phoenomenon" is caused by the iris of the camera opening and closing rapidly. If you don't believe me try dragging the timeline pointer slowly when the sun starts to pulsate. Then freeze it when the sun light goes dim and you will see total darkness. This darkness can only be caused by closing the camera's iris!

Its simple the video cam is inside a moving car (reflection on the window, dirt on the window, engine noise, near back-ground moving, etc). The effect of a dancing sun is due to an automatic fast adjustment of the video cam (focal?) when near tree branches are passing very fast in front of the video cam. Nothing miraculous I obtained it already myself while filming a sunset from a moving bus during a trip in Asia!

I was there in 1986. While I'm Catholic, I was a little skeptic since the day I saw it with my own eyes. It was the month of september, a clear, warm day. Everyone could clearly see this phenomenon. Plus (and this is a common experience to those who witnessed the phenomenon before, but I didn't know it at that time) dozens of birds that were singing since that moment, suddenly stopped and they stood mute during all the time the sun phenomenon lasted.

If you watch 0:40 to 0:49 you can see the tree in front of the sun, I doubt a camera could pull off a "trick" like that. This looks pretty authentic to me and for those asking "why doesn't this happen globally if it is the sun?"

This phenomenon was also captured on film at Conyers, Georgia. Nancy Fowler was the visionary there who also passed with flying colors when she was examined & put to the test in a neurological lab. i've read all comments...and summarize: that's a singular phenomenon only seen at this place at same time, and it's a real phenomenon seen by "naked eye". besides, it has been watched on other places in other times, and has been discussed by astronoms.

There are variable stars that pulsate in different periods. The Sun is not a classical variable, but could be seen as a variable star with a very low pulsations (11 years cycle). I've been on astronomy conferences when these ideas have been proposed (Sun=variable). In anyway, something will happen with the Sun (or why not a nearby star?)

for those skeptics, please do make a personal trip to medjugorje and experience it rather than judging it from logical sense. I have been to the place with skeptism but to reach there ashamed of my weakened faith. My dad kept his video captures of the pulsating sun after a decade. I can testify that this video is a genuine case, similar to my dad's vid-caps as well. It is authentic, as with many other pilgrims can vouch it.

Can the flashing pulsing effect of the sun be seen by the naked eye? Or only through electronic video camera? Because it looks like the auto exposure is struggling to compensate with the extreme brightness of the sun. Domestic video cameras aren't designed to be pointed directly at the sun for this reason.

Some people try to say that the camera is faulty causing it to flicker. But if you look closely you will see that the strobing of the sun does not affect the power poles and trees coming into the foreground as the car travels along. You can also see that the sun darts around in the sky as well as strobing and changing colours.
