it's an automation clip.

you can pretty much pick any sort of editable knob or setting in nearly all of the sounds you have, and can make an automation clip with it. then you mess with it a little in the playlist.

you need producer edition or higher for this.

hey kev i did exactly what u did and it sounds great! but when i try and add the bassline it has the same fx as the 3x osc. how do i make it so only the 3x osc has those effects and nothing else? Also how do i save the fx settings? thanks

you assign the 3x osc to its individual channel in the mixer (open up the sampler top right there shoudl be a button says FX and a [--] change that to a number and to save the effects click top left of the mixer then go to save state as

hey sup, i've seen quite a few tutorial video's on youtube, and well the 3xosc just wont click with me. It seems that whenever i try to create a sound using the 3xosc i always get the same sound...i really dont know how people can make leads out of this, confuses the shit outta me, and whenever i try to it always ends up sounding detuned or somewhat whistly :S next time you do a tut could you not have the sound playing in the background :D was hard to hear

how do you go about layering different lead sounds or bass sounds.

its all to do with ya ears dude if ya layer one sound onto another and its shit your ears will obviously let ya know haha!

but the best thing to do when layering is listen out whether ya first melody is full or lows mids or high then find a sound thats got tohe opposite which will fill it out

eg: first melody really got a lot of high end frequencies so layer this up with sumthn that may have mid or low frequencies!!

Nice mate, personally I think 3x osc is a really good way to make some leads to the song but it easily get's so booring at the end. Perhaps you could make an video where you make a lead to a vocal maybe? Just show some tips how you do to make it fit to the song :)

well if its too overpowering in ya effects panel try turning the volume down from there yano when ya bring ya effects up each effects panel has its own seperate volume try turning that down =]
