@NinjutsuMindSet you can say that sketching is when you are quickly laying out your artwork with basic outlines of what you want and where you want it.

I guess a drawing is your final vision of what you want to draw, most drawings involves detail, shading unlike a sketch. i dont really draw up sketches before my drawings I usually go in with the detail right away as you can see in my videos. Thanks.

how long did this take too draw because when i draw i dont have the pacient to sit with it the drawing for more then a houre or so.

thanks :) I really dont know exactly, maybe somewhere between 9 - 15 hours. I drew this one for a few hours each day for a couple of days.

The more patience you have with whatever you draw the better the outcome, you dont need to finish it in one sitting, draw a little and then come back to it the next day or so.

wow thanks! :), I dont know, people have their own learning curve. I've practiced portrait drawings for about 10 months now, but I have been drawing more or less my whole life (I'm 21), so I knew I could draw before I started trying portraits.

Just keep practice, you can only get better :)

thanks dude!, well I've been drawing more or less my whole life (I'm 21 now), but the last couple of years I didnt draw anything until february this year when i started to get interested in drawing portraits :) I dont know what to say dude, i wish I had a secret to tell you but I dont seriously I just follow the reference pic as closely as I can, I'm sure you can find a good shading tutorial on the web or just here on youtube, sorry that I'm not at much help here:D

well I use STAEDTLER pencils in different degrees ( F,HB, 2B, 3B etc etc)

to create shadow with them I use, I dont know what it's called, it looks like pencil but it's made of some cloth material, anyway I use that to smudge/mix.
