.......I don't know what YOUR definition of what a starwars game is, but mine most definitely does not revolve around a complete mary sue with barely any level progression and a stroyline that will captivate me for 2 hours before I've beaten it. Twice. On the hardest difficulty.

(the Dark Forces and Jedi Knight series) Now, they figure they can take "The dark man in the bug-eyed black-helmet with the cape" (Not understanding that he's DARTH VADER) and give him a bratty teenaged force prodigy, (replacing Luke Skywalker) add overblown Force Powers and call it a game with a "great story". Gimme a break.

Instead of boba-fett kidnapping that girl, getting an appearance twice in the game, he instead should have fought with Starkiller, almost losing, but gaining the upper-hand in the end and knocking him the fuck out.
@commander7890 Here's an idea: the game was meant to star Darth Vader, so why not make an adventure RPG with the player as Vader, who is less mobile than before. (the suit being cumbersome) Vader must hunt down the last 23 Jedi Knights, but must aquire a much better connection to the Force first: He would not survive in a 1 on 1 duel without it!
30 seconds? Isn't that about as long as the actual game? I wanted so badly for this game to be better than it was. I like the game play, I like the story, I like Galen as a character... but seriously. At least have some content.

Liked the first game, story and gameplay. Disliked how Starkiller turned into a whiny bitch by the end of this sequel. Gameplay was decent, though. I personally find the Force Unleashed games are decent inheritors of the Jedi Knight series. I will admit I'd probably rather have more Kyle Katarn Jedi awesome, but the gameplay's generally solid with these games, even if the story's degraded from the first game's epic-ness.

Republic commando kinda sucked for me, but I loved Battlefront and KOTOR (i think you can still play Battlefront online)...hell I even liked the oldschool super star wars titles and sadly the Episode I game.
Of course I was a Star Wars Galaxies guy and I'm hyped about the old republic.

@MKfan888 It's not terrible, there are lots of fun ways to kill enemies and really nice environments and effects. The combat is pretty repetitive by the end though, even though the game isn't very long, and Boba Fett and Yoda feel shoehorned into the story just so they could be in the ads. The length is really unacceptable, it's like half the length of the first game and I thought that was too short.
@Cheezburger2012 shit give us a new Rogue Squadron/Leader game. We haven't had one of those in years. Combine Rogue Squadron with Battlefront or Jedi Knight and have the ultimate Star Wars video game experience.

@darklordservant88 It's all cool. I know they are old but have you played Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast or Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy games (albeit Jedi Outcast has a more in depth story than Academy)? If I'm remembering my canon right they take place after the events of Episode VI. I agree with you though, they do need to make more games that come after the Original's canon. They are changing too much of the in between story. Of course it's all up to Lucas and his making of a quick buck.

And that's what I was driving at... it's like the paradox of having more advanced technology... earlier in the story? Doesn't make sense. Liked the first game, story and gameplay. Disliked how Starkiller turned into a whiny bitch by the end of this sequel. Gameplay was decent, though. I personally find the Force Unleashed games are decent inheritors of the Jedi Knight series. I will admit I'd probably rather have more Kyle Katarn Jedi awesome, but the gameplay's generally solid with these games, even if the story's degraded from the first game's epic-ness.
Don't care much about Battlefront, though.

@Cheezburger2012 All I have to say is Force Unleashed was badass. You have your opinion, I have mine. Republic commando kinda sucked for me, but I loved Battlefront and KOTOR (i think you can still play Battlefront online)...hell I even liked the oldschool super star wars titles and sadly the Episode I game.
Of course I was a Star Wars Galaxies guy and I'm hyped about the old republic.
plus i thought i heard about a new battlefront being made or ''talked'' about. We can only hope!

@MKfan888 It's not terrible, there are lots of fun ways to kill enemies and really nice environments and effects. The combat is pretty repetitive by the end though, even though the game isn't very long, and Boba Fett and Yoda feel shoehorned into the story just so they could be in the ads. The length is really unacceptable, it's like half the length of the first game and I thought that was too short.
I think the consensus is BATTLEFRONT 3 PLOX

@darklordservant88 It's all cool. I know they are old but have you played Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast or Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy games (albeit Jedi Outcast has a more in depth story than Academy)? If I'm remembering my canon right they take place after the events of Episode VI. I agree with you though, they do need to make more games that come after the Original's canon. They are changing too much of the in between story. Of course it's all up to Lucas and his making of a quick buck.

And that's what I was driving at... it's like the paradox of having more advanced technology... earlier in the story? Doesn't make sense. So why not have the guy that can rip Star Destroyers out of the sky exist after the whole Darth Vader era? I mean, you're right, Lucasarts is just trying to make money, but with the title of Star Wars alone, they should have little to worry about
