Krishnamurti is worth listening to, reading and thinking about. Even though he says it doesn't matter and won't change a thing...that's about the only thing I disagree with him about.
He made a difference. He still is making a difference.
I don't know for how many years you've listened. But I think your ideas are common to most readers / watchers. After all: he is a teacher. If you can't understand, then he is not really teaching. Which he is. It's just very profound, hard to grasp. I guess.
i'd totally love to discuss with him..i don't really understand why no one is argueing with him...everyone is like yes that sounds logical...it might seem logical but it might still not be true if there is something so called truth...that's the point....i think if you discuss with him you wouln't be able to agree, as you don't really understand what he understands...unfortunatelly i'm to stupid to understand it, i understand what it means , but still don't get it
i thought about that i dont care about if all i want doesnt happen. I thought about living alone in a tent asking people for some money to eat. Beeing sick and poor, drug addicted and alone instead of the life i want. And somehow the acception of this possible defeat feels very liberating. Maybe we all have to relax and stop to control things. Because that is what is keeping us inprisoned
Yeah I agree..I have experienced the same type of though/feeling...Just let go...stop caring..we control nothing...stop caring what happens to both myself and the world.
He is one of the greatest man whoever lived. I am greatful that I am able to hear him without judgement. These are ture word to help your spirit into evolving beings if you are ready. You must be open to recieve his message from the heart, mind and soul. Everything exist for us to want, learn from and follow. That is the choice here people and with you, within you and everything around reflects you. He is more right than any organized religion, organized school and organized group. Thank you!
He triggers the same feeling in me - complete freedom from everything - all the meanings, ideas... - because they do not matter, because I will die anyway. May be tomorrow - so what is the point of anxiety, stress, moral values....? They are just rules imposed on us for the society to function in a certain way - in most cases to suite someone else.
I feel like this is something I figured out a long time ago but never was able to put it into words and no one understood. Maybe everyone has felt that way.
-Need to find something, to come to a conclusion is a need of your mind and not of you.
-Mind wants a conclusion to which it can cling to and make it as a fulcrum of yet another pattern.
-So please do not seek for conclusion but try to find the entity which want to conclude and also try to find out what that entity wants to do after having concluded. That very inquiry should be the end.
For TADfx: Krishnamurti says that we must begin to ask questions and not just accept what we have been taught. He wants us to question everything including him. Only then can we be on the path to understanding ourselves, other beings and the universe. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Friedrich Nietzsche are teaching the same philosophy.

I've always felt that once you've listened to one Krishnamurti talk there is really no need to listen to any other. But listening is always new.

I have listened to K, for 40 years.
And I wonder if he actually knew, what he was saying;
Was there ever a final point to his conversations, I did not realy see one either!
But he (was) grovy:
TADfx 3 years ago
you've listened to him for forty years and are still asking the question as to what his point was? If he knew what he was saying?
Have u truly listened? The answer/point is an obvious 1. LIVE & BE.
Nourish ur spirit not ur ego (which is what most of us do)
Plus, he doesn't want u 2 follow his words. He wants YOU 2 figure it out yourself. It's half of ur journey in this life.
What was his point? U can't go 2 WalMart & buy it. ;)
Happy New Year...and here's 2 40 more years of listening to K.
