  • Beautiful rottie! I like that you let him be a puppy and live life as a normal dog eventhough hes a showdog. Hes a ham.

  • what a beautiful and healthy looking dog.Makes me happy to see dogs like this.

  • omg cute as

im getting a rottweiler in nov

any good tips. Im not going to be entering mine in competitons or anything. I just want tips in ensuring my pup is healthy

  • Just make sure it gets all its shots. They are very susceptible to parvo. Other than that, lots of love and attention :-D

  • a lot of socialization

  • I own a rotti and my tips would be teach em who the boss is VERY EARLY ON they are a dominant breed. Get your dog to socalise with other dogs and members of the family as many times as you can. Especially when they are a pup don't OVER WALK THEM, people have a tendancy to over walk they causing future hip problems. They love to learn so 5mins aday teaching commands won't do any harm.

  • No no NO! A puppy is a puppy and should be allowed to LIVE like a puppy as well! Play, sleep, eat, sleep, play, eat and so on! This should be the norm until the puppy has settled into it's new home, THEN the owner can start with socializing and training them very little at a time! NO "showing whose the boss" since this is bollocks from de 40's, you BECOME a leader to the dog (ALL dogs!), you don't TAKE leadership by trying to enforce this upon your dog, especially not a PUPPY!!!!

  • They test you for the first 3yrs, whatever they get away with they use it to their advantage every time-thats pretty much any dog-they need a lot of socialization also. And bunches & bunches of Love. They are awesome dogs-I'm so happy for you!

  • handsome one you got there~~~

  • MAte rotti owner here too! check out my rottie.

    Love her to bits.
