Thanks for posting this! We had this record and I remember listening to it. The cover brings back great memories of sitting in our den in the 70's listening to this. Sounds a little crazy as I write this but we didn;t have play station or any of the other stuff kids have today. You actually had to use the imagination God gave you.
You are welcome & I agree about the imagination part before all these hi tech toys came along! Thank you for checking this LP record out...Friends, Lloyd.
Very, very good sound here. Would you mind if I asked what cartridge you used to reproduce this? I have a few Audio Fidelity LPs and they are very impressive sounding LPs
My dad Sidney Frey was founder and president of Audio Fidelity Records. I'm glad you are all enjoying the replay. You can't believe what it used to sound like in our apartment growing up. My dad had a monster of a stereo system and it was soooooo loud. Andrea (Frey) Bass
when I was a kid,my dad would play this album so loud you would think you were standing in the middel of a rail yard. Side B was a bit scarry for me since Southern Railway( spent time near Pegram Shops in ATL) used the exact diesel chime as the beginning train did.
I was surprised by how clean of noise the vinyl is for both being first year issued stereo vinyl(1958), and how it remained that way over it's 52 year lifetime as it must have only been played a few times in all those years!!...friends, Lloyd.

GREAT!!! What a sound! Here's your's "vinyl is an imperfect format".
I wonder: if an mp3 sounds SO great - how does sound an original vinyl?..
Also wonder: did they made this in a 7 1/2 two track reel-to-reel tape?

@Vladislaw81
This is the original 1958 lp, and I am not sure if it was on reel to reel tape, or any other format for consumers to buy?...Friends, Lloyd.
lrh1966 7 months ago
@lrh1966 Yes, there was a 7 1/2 ips, 2 track tape, marked AFST 1843. But I've never seen it for sale on eBay. Yet, the vinyl sounds incredibly.

The reel to reel tapes of this must be very rare today, and would be a great find...Friends, Lloyd.
