  • I'm getting the yellow eternal one on Friday!

  • I always wanted a dalek, but sheesh those are horrible quality!

  • they look like the 2010 new bubble bath Daleks

  • You should make a dapol figure story starring the 7th doctor and Ace.

  • I liked the Flamethrower Dalek different-style arm, but not the flame - (1), it seemed to have a broken end, and (2) you couldn't opt to detach it. Hope the new CO Flamethrower Dalek may allow us to remove the actual "Flame" - we'll know by Christmas!

  • @Burgessdraw434 strage

  • i had 3 red and gold daleks

  • Oh, I didn't know it was pronounced "Day-Poll" I always called it "Dah-Poll" :P

  • I love Dapol so much.

  • MAtt, I think your gold one broke because in the 1980's and up till the mid 1990's, gold pastic (the swirly ones) would get brittle, due to the chemical composition, and would either snap or crumble. Transformers made in those days were some of the biggest victims, Black Zarak, one of the most wanted, and expensive TFs, would end up having broken/disintegrated pieces, even when mint and sealed in their boxes. Be cool if CO could buy the rights to the Dapol stuff and sell em like with star wars

  • Matt, back in 1997, I saw a Davros and Dalek 8 pack box here in the states, in a public flea market and with a price tag of $75.00, and by the time I saved up for it, someone beat me to it. Never saw any of those since.

  • Also, in the Dapol days, these WERE the most accurate Daleks we had...I mean look at the Louis Marx Daleks from the 60's and 70's, or the "Coneheads" as I called them. You had Daleks to fight your Stormtroopers or kill you GI Joes if you wanted. :)

  • i think that dapol sould make more daleks for USA. but i dont know why they're very expensive only on US.i try to get one on ebay

  • @mcdaleklover Dapol doesn't exist anymore sadly. Although i remember them always being quite expensive even over here. When i went to their Doctor Who experience in Llangolen (sorry if thats spelt wrong) i paid around £12 for a red and black Dalek. Doesnt sound very expensive but it is really for what it is

  • @mcdaleklover Dapol lost the licence to make Daleks about 10 years ago.

  • i wish i could aford to buy that many toys.

  • Hey Bats, you REALLY need to make some figure adventures with these!

  • i wish i was alive in the 80s andthe 90s

  • I remember the Llangollen exhibition. At the time, I was only interested in the railway stuff but my mum & dad took us into the Doctor who exhibition below. That got me fixed on doctor who & I've always remembered a gold dalek behind a barred door like a prison & they had a black dalek outside. They also had a voice changer as well. My parents shouted the immortal words EX-TER-MIN-ATE & I said (quite sheepishly) Hello lol. Looking back it was a great thing but at the time it wasn't my thing

  • no offence but wats the point of these figs there crap and by the way this is only my opinion

  • @mrcoolstuff1001 Theres alot of point in these, these are 80's and 90's they're not going to be as good as today. So stuff you.

  • i used 2 love these, just wished i looked after them now :/

  • is the dapol daleks the size of character options 5 inch releases?

  • @Daleksaucercommander The Dalpol figures are about...3 inches big?

  • the silver dalek looks like a stone dalek

  • The dalek at 02:47 is one of the daleks from the curse of fatal death.

  • where did you get them all?

  • I loved these as a child. I had a grey one with black spots, red with black, red with silver and the red movie Dalek.

  • thats the one with the claw ;-) i always favoured the black dalek

  • i had 3. I had a silver one (cant find it) a black one (broken) a white and gold one (customised with large ball over top section and painted gold to look like the comic emperor daleks)

  • Nice vid, very jealous of that set of '60's esque daleks. I've actually got about half of the ones you mentioned, even a millennium dalek, a silver sparkled and gold hemisphered one [just about the best looking one I saw out of the set], it was very useful for transmat effects when I was younger. There was also one more version of the Davros figure that I know of, a very inaccurate painted one, gold hemispheres.

    Anyway, nicely done.

  • These look like good army building Daleks, but the problem is that they look really fragile and easily cracked.

  • Dapol dosnt exist now, pitty, the 60's set is a good set and idea, I've got a Dapol Green Dalek, that came out with a bad color design, and If got the first ever Dalek out, Im gonna put it on Youtube, right now I'v got up my Dapol Patrick Troughton figure, cheack out my channel :)

  • bet they are worth abit

  • to make it

  • great video as always ,out of interest what program did you use thanx Olly

  • Thanks for the video! I've been so excited for your Dapol Dalek review! Thanks for the peek at your collection. Though I was hoping you'd go more into the details of why they're not so great; I've bought a few of my own off of eBay and I keep hearing people saying that they're not accurate and they fall apart a lot.

    Great review! Thank you!

  • You give us a great Look at figure I never thought existed....I mean I had a few dapols but i never knew there was a full dalek set with flamethrower and mutant

    Good Review thanks very much

  • Love the Daleks I did have one of these but I don't know which one

  • I love that 'Early Daleks' set. The Daleks with the flame and the one with the seismic detector look especially good.

  • WHERE DID YOU GET ALL OF THEM?

  • hi, good review bats and the dalek with the black body and gold slats is based off the dalek in the blackpool doctor who museum.

  • yah dapol daleks

  • The Dapol Daleks were also sucessfull is because they also looked like Daleks....unlike the mishappen ones from the 1960's and 1970's.

I'd like to find a bunch of those myself. :)

  • Brilliant review bats!!!

  • wicked review

  • very cool
