  • @nikefan44 Damn, the title of the video is "Lyle Moevao Lays out defender", not "the best run of all time"

  • Gain of 3 yards

  • @nikefan44 your point?

  • @MKsap93 fuck you is my point.

  • @nikefan44 jesus. bitchy much?

  • @MKsap93 You don't speak English do you? Figures

  • @nikefan44 you must be retarded.

  • @nikefan44 yeah it was 3 yards...but face it, it was better than a loss of 10 yards....it was a good play. don't try to make a point you can't make.

  • @benwhyme My point was three yards. Which is the same point you made. Its a fact. So i made mine, but you failed to make your point.

  • @nikefan44 well how you type it, you made it sound like a regular run....just saying

  • That game was so intense and the reffs were dumbasses and almost lost the game for the beavers

  • Island stylin...too good

  • i was there

  • Huck the Fuskies!

  • CHILD, PLEASE

  • lol man thats my beavers!!

  • well then duche bag i guess that 75% of americas best hit arnt hits

  • Yeah,probably not.

  • You do realize that the defender Greyson Gunheim is 6'5" and weighs 265 lbs. That was a Quarterback decleating a now NFL defensive end.

Oh and Moevao is 5'11" and 225 lbs.

    That was an Impressive hit

  • by a QB! if it was a lineman delivering that hit, then it wouldn't be as big

  • I was at that game. Crazy hit live, especially coming from a quarterback.

  • das how we do in da islands.cheeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahooooooooooooooooffffaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • click click

    BOOM!!!!!!!

  • at that game. it was totally the best!!

  • and for those who wonder why he moved from d-end to qb its cuz he played and dominated at both in HS

  • sick ass hit, i went to high school with him lyle i didnt really talk to em he was an intimidaying senior and i was a freshman haha, but he's definitely a North High Legend! keep doin work Lyle! ... his family is all beast his brother levi trained with us and he's amazing too

  • The difference between a samoan quarterback and every other race, is we play EVERY position on the field. If he throws a pick, you better watch out cuz now hes a defender bouto murder you!!

  • i'm a duck fan but even i admit that's a freaking awesome hit. making that hit against a husky makes it that much easier for me (or anyone for that matter) to enjoy. that must be embarrassing to be an all pac-10 defensive end getting laid out by a quarterback (well, a defensive end who transformed into a quarterback, but a quarterback nonetheless).

  • and u gotta remember hes samoan..u know how strong we are..haha..just look at ur starting QB Masoli...Hes samoan too and look how he trucks people...

  • samoans don't back down from hits like that that's for sure.

  • hahah i love the guy at 0:16 in the background laughing his ass off

  • that was a fun game to be at

  • i was at that game the officals had shitty calls and every one was freaking out

  • that was a good hit but that dude looks small for a d tackle at a d1 school

  • dudes a d end

  • o ........

well i guess that makes more sense

still tho any d lineman should not be just getting put on their ass like that

  • Wanna know something?

Lyle Moevao was a Defensive End in highschool. I wonder how he turned into a QB when he went to college

  • huh

    thats interesting

could be that he was just that good of an athlete to pull it off

but it makes one wonder why any coach would consider moving a defensive end to qb

    especially in college football

  • well apparently, he was too small to play dend in junior college but I guess had an arm to play QB

  • lol he played QB and D End

he just stopped playing D End

  • Got Owned. Moevao is good

  • From the Pac-10 Website:

"the following procedures will determine the Pacific-10 Rose Bowl Representative. The Pacific-10 Rose Bowl representative shall be that member's team with the best won-lost percentage record in Conference games. If, however, the records in Conference games of two or more members are identical, determination of the Rose Bowl representative shall be as follows:

    a. Two-Team Tie.

The winner of the game between the two teams shall be the representative."

  • And in this obvious situatiojn (which is what we have now with an Oregon State-USC tie atop the Pac-10 (7-1) ) and the head to head is the tie breaker as the Rose Bowl Representative. Oregon State won. So they have the Rise invite should they win Saturday.

  • Beavers are going all the way to rose bowl and if ur a duck fans who hate. seriously get a life

  • you guys prob will go to the rose bowl but its going to be a horrible representation of the pac-10 cuz you will just get stomped by psu again

  • I doubt that. Neutral site, and Mike Riley's teams (for whatever reason) are always great finishers and slow starters, plus, you get to Clark and PSU is done. Who cares about conference "representation". That is interesting coming out of the Big Ten..soft as ever.

  • If only he could throw as well as he could hit...

  • Awesome... Fricken' awesome... I love when QB's aren't afraid to to get physical... Especially when it's blocking for a teammate... Da bess...

  • He was a defensive lineman before he was a quarter back hes not afraid to hit people. haha.

  • Honestly, that about the only things Lyles good at. But hey, hes getting better

  • Wow...nice job losing to Iowa..again..YAWN!

  • You're right....they aint no Stanford that's for sure! YAWN....BURP....FART...SPLASH! Excuse me.

  • Your right.... Stanford's way better than Iowa. Now you get to lose to us in the Rosebowl unless you lose to Michigan state

  • Keep dreaming. The good people at the rose bowl aren't gonna risk putting on a snoozer of a game in prime time like we all had to endure back in September. I'm guessing it will be the rabid beavers vs. the buckeyes in the rose bowl and the mighty Nittany Lions vs. the poser Tojans from USC in the Fiesta Bowl.

  • the trojans vs penn state would be a snoozer dumb shit usc would dominate and everyone is sick of usc beatin up on big 10 teams

  • Wake up. The Pac*10 Champ is auto Rose Bowl unless they are in the title game. Oregon State is in first with USC (tie), but OSU wins the tiebreaker because they beat USC head to head. What are you talking about?

Same in Big 10. PSU and OSU are tied. PSU goes because they won the head to head. Read dude.

  • The Rose Bowl traditionally takes the pac-10/Big-11 champions but they do not have to. The Rose Bowl has a right to demand the champions from each conference if the Rose Bowl people want it that way, however they can invite anyone they want. The Big-11 champ and the Pac-10 champ cannot demand to be selected to play in the Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl has the power to chose, not the conferences. If the Rose Bowl wants a different matchup they can do so and there is nothing the Pac-10/Big-11 can do.

  • Are you serious? The auto Rose invite goes to the Pac-10 Champ. Oregon State by winning Saturday will be the PAC-10 CHAMP. No if and or buts. You are silly for imagining that the Rose can do whatever it wants.

Why do you think people keep talking about USC as an at large BCS pick? Because they lose the tie breaker for the Rose bowl with Oregon State because they have the same conf record, but lose the tie because OSU beat them.

Wow. It is crazy to think someone does not know this.

  • The Pac-10 Champ nor Big Ten Champ will not "demand" to be picked. It is automatic. Why do you think the Rose picked Illinoise as its second team when OSU was in the title game when they could have taken Mizzou? Tradition. The Rose will take the traditional champs of each conference. Everyone knows this. For this reason USC (as the past Pac-10 champ) has played in the Rose bowl as the Pac-10 rep vs the Big-10 rep, except when the NC was in the Rose.

  • You should do some research on the Rose and what their plans are. Oregon State will be in the Rose Bowl....I am stll in disbelief that someone really doesnt know nor understand this. The Rose will take them as the Pac-10 rep and Penn State (who is already in) as the Big 10 invite. All OSU has to do is win the Civil War and its a done deal...everyone knows this.

  • From the BCS Website:

"2. Unless they qualify to play in the NCG, the champions of selected conferences are contractually committed to host selected games: Atlantic Coast Conference-Orange Bowl

     Big Ten Conference-Rose Bowl Big 12 Conference-Fiesta Bowl Pac-10 Conference-Rose Bowl Southeastern Conference-Sugar Bowl"

See that? "CONTRACTURALLY" - Pac-10 Champ. That means the Pac-10 Champ (unless playing in the NCG) is CONTRACTURALLY committed to the Rose Bowl. OSU=Roses

  • And I am watching ESPN right now and even THEY are stating that the Rose is automatic and interviweing Mike Riley about the game Saturday and the huge implications. So I would assume that you have the ups and inside knowledge that ESPN, The Pac-10, and the BCS doesn't?!?? Even to media statements, interviews and absolutes that they have put out about the Rose bowl auto bid and the contractural agreement that a Pac-10 & Big-10 champ cannot get out of unless that team is in the NCG??

  • Boy are you smart....

    "From the BCS Website:

    2. Unless they qualify to play in the NCG, the champions of selected conferences are contractually committed to host selected games:

    Atlantic Coast Conference-Orange Bowl

    Big Ten Conference-Rose Bowl

    Big 12 Conference-Fiesta Bowl

    Pac-10 Conference-Rose Bowl

    Southeastern Conference-Sugar Bowl"

In a world with complete transparency and detail available, you decide to put out snob-babble, & guesswork. You are in limbo.

  • Reading comprehension is not your strong suit. "the champions of selected conferences are contractually committed to host selected games" This means the pac-10/Big-11 champs are contractually obligated to play in the rose bowl if the rose bowl wants them, however the rose bowl is not contractually obligated to invite either of the Pac-10 or Big-11 champs. They selected Illinois last year because of tradition not because they were obligated to. The Bowls pick who plays in their games.

  • Interesting...so if that were true...when has the Rose Bowl EVER invited a non-Pac-10 & non Big 10 team in the SAME game? Help me out here. IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED. But you seem to re-define the word contract in your blither of snot babble.

  • So you think the Rose just takes "anyone" and "can" when they have NEVER done it.

    Look at 2003:

    Pac-10 Champ: Wazzu

Big Ten Champ: Ohio State (absolved from the Rose by being in the NC). Next in line....Orange Bowl, picks Iowa to play USC. Third? 8-5 Michigan. A team unranked...cannot be picked. So the Rose HAD top pick an at large. get it? That turned out to be OU. I would not expect you to get it...after all...the word contract (according to you) doesnt indicate reciprocrality. (lol!)

  • answer: 2005 Penn State was big-10 champ but played in the orange Bowl. You just made my point by stating iowa played USC in the "orange Bowl" in 2003 when the orange bowl traditionally takes ACC/ Big east or an at large. In the BCS era the pairings are much looser than in the past. 2002: Miami Vs. nebraska; 2005 Texas Vs. Michigan; 2006 Texas Vs USC; Penn State also played USC in the Rose Bowl in 1923, that's 70 years before Penn State joined the Big-10.

  • Furthermore, since you love quoting ESPN so much, Craig James and Doug Flutie both agreed the Rose Bowl needs to work with another BCS bowl into arranging a Penn State/USC game instead of having PSU play Oregon State in the Rose Bowl because no one would watch it except PSU and OrSU fans. it would be as enticing as a USC vs. OrSU Rose Bowl or PSU vs. ohio State. It wouldn't get ratings nationwide because no one will care because the teams have already played in the regular season.

  • "the champions of selected conferences are contractually committed to host selected games"

Interesting caveat you have here...you left out the most important quote regarding these games I included..."Unless they qualify to play in the NCG".

Just tell me when has the Rose ever (as you say) "selected anyone" to play in the game that were neither from the Big 10/Pac-10 in the same year as you imply.

I suppose you are more privy to detail that ESPN, the BCS, & the Rose Bowl have aired.

  • So i got a serious question...

pretending OSU won the pac ten, being entitiled to the rose bowl and USC got an at large and Penn St won the big ten with the buckeyes in second getting an at large, potentially could the BCS arrange the games so OSU plays the buckeyes in the Rose even if they did not win the Big ten. I thought it was winner of pac ten vs. winner of big ten outright unless one of the teams goes to the national championship game in which then an at large would take place.

  • Yes. That is entirely possible. The Rose Bowl would probably try to get the OrSU/OSU game because they are both traditional rose bowl teams whereas they'd try to push USC/PSU into the fiesta bowl since PSU has a long tradition of playing in the fiesta bowl. The Rose Bowl committe was adamant in saying they wanted PSU/OrSU in the rose bowl because they knew the TV networks were gonna come at them with an offer for the scenario you just posted. They were gonna use "tradition" as leverage.

  • (cont.) The bowls are all about money. College football is all about money. the bowl committees have a lot of power and money talks. That's the reason we don't have a playoff...too many influential people are making lots of money off the status quo.

  • Great hit, will never forget seeing it live...DAMN!

Keep up your QB skills boy...

    Great hit Moevao!

    Go Beavs!

  • I love the Huskies, but dammm that WAS A STICK!

there is nothing wrong and nothing better with a solid tackle and from a quarterback also!

  • Shazaam. Take a seat bitch! O'Doyle rules!!

  • not only is he a QB, he's SAMOAN!!!! it's a natural thing in our blood.

  • LOVE IT! Turn down the sound because Petros Papadakis has the most ANNOYING voice of any analysist in all of college football!

  • lol yeah Petros sucks

  • Played football with that guy in high school

  • You know #7 got shit for that from everyone... I mean who gets drilled by a quarterback when your on defense

  • thats my boy lyle

  • The hit of the Century!!!

  • FUCKIN HUSKY BITCHES

  • That wasnt very nice....... lol

  • reminds me of pro bowl 2006! sean taylor and the punter from the bills had the same hit but it was even harder.

  • yea that shit was sweet miss the man.....

  • I was there and i could hear that hit 20 yards away

  • I laughed so hard I think I pee'd a little.

  • jquizz rodgers is gonna be playin there soon!!!! james rodgers little bro.. i live in the berg and i went to all the mustang games!

  • Thats how OSU does it all pro baby in the future

  • thats how u do it osu style

  • I had my initial doubts about Lyle, but he's developing exceptionally well. Keep it up and take that starting job next season!

  • do u guys no that lyle is my friends cuzin lol thats so cool huh

  • yea is my cussin too....lol.

    i mean is my unco.....from my matha's fatha's side....

  • I was at that game and even though I'm a Duck, I really got fired up after that hit.

  • y where u at that game if u were a duck?

    hippy

  • Maybe he likes the beavs too? Hmmmm?

  • Sweet!

  • when he was in eugene, i've never seen a qb that smiles so much in a game. tho im a duck fan, i have to say that he's my fav beaver player :)

  • You probably only like him cause he handed you the ball twice during that game :P I like him too - more than canfield at least - but someone really needs to teach him how to hold on to the ball.

  • he used 2 play DE in high school....good shit lyle

  • Looks like some payback to me. How many QBs get to stick a DE like that? Nice hit.

  • flawless execution!!!

  • That was a clean hit and a great block.

  • Yeah, Riley commended him for that. That's the kind of effort Riley wants out of his players, regardless of position. Just because he's a QB doesn't mean he shouldn't get physical.

  • you are as big a baby as that poor Puppy DT.

  • are u kidding he clearly put his head down before the hit. clean block

  • QBs can block however they want buddy seeing how 100% of the time the Dline is double their weight

  • And you're blind if you think that was helmet-to-helmet. That's the most idiotic thing I've read in weeks. Look at the replay. He didn't even touch the UW player's helmet. He hit him squarely in the chest with his shoulder.

  • yay! thats my kuzn!

    good job lyle!

    love you!

  • wow, i bet that guy felt worthless after that lol..that's almost worse than gettin hit by the kicker.

  • Hm. That was rare you usualy dont see that many people/Quaterbacks get good blocks like that.

    That was good son.

  • hhaha thats work uce

  • Moevao should be playing fullback for OSU, goddamn son.

  • you're right, he's mediocre at best under center

  • He's played as good as Canfield, and has put out more effort.

  • That was effin SICK! You got JACKED UP!

  • A little Hulkamania at the end.

  • Well done Lyle! Now go beat the Ducks!!!!!

  • THATS A BLOCK,YA DIG?

  • hey dats me...hahaha, dat was fun. hope you guys liked it.

  • :) good work lyle.

    "i ain'tch yo bitch, BITCH!"

  • dude

my dad and i were waiting for someone to post that amazing play by Lyle.
