I find this music is so incredibly uplifting and romantic. It fits the film so well and I think truly displays how Jim feels around Judy compared to others like his parents and Buzz's gang. I adore this movie. It's amazing that something released 56 years ago can still speak to the youth of today just as it did back in the 1950s. Has any other movie aged so well? Is Jim Stark perhaps the most relatable movie character of all time?

Glad to see that others love this music. I recall when this movie came out. And I loved the theme. Couldn't find anyone else who even recalled it in my hick town.

Yes, it IS drop-dead gorgeous music. And folks, be sure to listen to Scott Dunn conducting this music before a full orchestra. Sounds like the title music.

wow the music is soo soo beautiful that i just can't stop listening to it, it's incredible how delicate and beautiful the film music compositions were back then, so romantic..i melt and fall in love with it..and i love the film as well..those times..James Dean..well he's a man for all times!!
