there was a parking ban at the time. the owners of the vehicles' insurance company covered the damage, however the city gave no compensation. the police officer told them to get it unstuck anyway they needed too. even if it ment hitting the other vehicles. This is not "reckless." That is VERY PRECARIOUS situation. That front end loader ways SEVERAL TONS, and it's stuck, obstructing the entire street to vehicles, other plows, fire engines, ambulances, etc... It must be moved, and there is NO EASY way to do that, except to just drag it out and power through. There's no traction, and it's impossible to control the raw power of that International wrecker while it tries to pull -- and the loader cannot just be left there. Lighten up people

OK, so they're fools. MAYBE. What we DON'T know about this scene is that, perhaps, the S.U.V and other vehicles in that lot might be expendable, or on the to-be-dispoded-of list. Getting that loader out of a tight spot, regardless of HOW, is awfully important when that machine is needed to clear vital roadways. Besides, it's a FRONT-END LOADER, NOT a SNOWPLOW.
