  • the back tires are amazing <3

  • When i was kid i grew up on a farm in Denmark! We had 55 acres which was pretty much in the seventies and dad was the first in our part of the country to buy a brand new JD 510 and a used 710 with a cloth cabin ;-) After they pasted 10-11.000 hours we used them for pumping water (irrigation) and exchanged them after 16 and 14.000 hours to a brand new 2030 and a used 2130 which lasted 18.000 and 17.500 hours. Continued :-)

  • We then got to new 2140 one 4-wheel drive and they where still running great at 12.000 hours when dad sold the farm!

Are the Deere still so amazingly trustworthy?

I spend so many hours on the tractor and it only failed once.... I forgot to refuel but I was 10 so dad just laughed at it :-) Love my childhood :-) >3

  • what a tractor

  • we should get one and replace our 8870 sound good?

  • @NMSchultz1 probably has more power lol. We dynoed our 8360r and it peaked at 405 hp

  • @jimulomotocrosser Well turns out we are about to get an 8310r and put a bully dog chip on it , after the warrenty is up, to give it over 350+hp

  • Kootra anyone?

  • I learned to farm on a 70 diesel, and that was only twenty years ago! I'd have to say I am quite jealous. Beautiful machine.

  • Nice tractor!!

  • What a dream come true.

  • I'd have sex with that tractor.

  • I wish you all the best with the new tractor

  • I suppose in America this is a medium size tractor

Here in the UK it is classed as a huge tractor, not many people have them

we have more of the 7000 series or smaller

  • @Billy7920 actually it is a big tractor here in america the 9000 series articulated ones are the huge tractors that a 325 hp and up

  • @Billy7920 i do know where in england there are 9000

  • @Billy7920 anywhere in the middle states up into the praries of canada you see a lot of these my family has 4 massey 8690's which is about the same size, but we have friends in ontario that use deutz fahr agrotron 120 and 150's

  • I only have 2 of these.

  • @sp00ktube yes on ls 09XD

  • @Auquaman112 Ok so they are my dads but still mine in a way. Oh only 1 8345 the other is a 7930.

  • @sp00ktube okay it was joke :P

  • how i wish to have one of those! :) nice pice of machinery that is!

  • we have a farm in fredonia kansas!

  • We have 6 of the 8rs coming this fall not quite as loaded as yours though. Hopefully they are as cool as i keep hearing.

  • the articulated tractors are the way to go, they are substantially less and have almost twice the horse power as the row crop tractors. the row crop tractors are over priced for the machine ur getting. the row crop tractors are nice but the articulated machines are the best machine for the price. and that tractor prolly costed like 250 with the ivt and ils.

  • I have both types of tractors. When it comes to cheap horsepower, yes, an old articulated tractor is hard to beat. However, MFWD row crop tractors are much more agile and maneuverable - especially in small fields.

One other interesting point is that my neighbor's 8430 (at under 300 hp) weighs more and will pull more than my 360 hp 976 Versatile.

  • very nice video. our newest tractor is a 8530.we've been looking to trade one of the 8400 tractors off for a 8345r. hopefully i can drive one this year yet.

  • I wonder how the high horsepower row-crop tractors will impact the demand for tractors like the 9230. (and other companies equivalents)

  • my god... farming has chenged. i think i will be plenty glad with an 8410! with power shift!

    5/5!

  • That might have cost over 200 large.Nice purchase.Nice to see these new untis are getting out ot the field.Looked at 2-8320Rs about a month ago.All the bells and whistles I see.

  • motore della madonna

  • congradualtions on the new purchase. wow that is my dream tractor. I hope that dream comes true one day for me
