  • Nice video! I wonder would that 7950 be better than the Krone Big X 650?

  • To thejohnmaloneman

I have never seen a Krone machine so I cannot tell. The price would weigh heavy, with me.

  • what are you picking up and where are you at

  • To blackwellcolin

It looked like grass to me! Where - Carmarthenshire in Wales.

  • @balmesh thank you

  • @blackwellcolin its called grass, a rare and valuable crop. only seen in some parts of england.

  • Another great video Alan. Just one question is there many new claas jaguars around where you are?

  • To 12360o

I don't know. What I see are very few new foragers of any colour. One new (last year) Deere and one new (last year) Claas.

  • Great vid. First time iv seen huw miss the trailer!!

  • To M4L221008

Thanks Mat. He doesn't often! Some seem to miss more often than hit!!

  • To jonycarlao

  • Outstanding video alan

  • To Tractormadsteve

    Thanks Steve.

  • Awesome video once again, tidy bit of raking done there very good. Did you go to the grassland demo with KUHN at the carmarthen showground today Alan?

  • To AlzPembz

No - I was not aware there was such a thing! I would have gone if I had known. Perhaps next time someone will remember me? But I did see John Deere triples mowing for your future enjoyment!

  • Nice vid once again

  • To 9065sam

    Thanks Sam.

  • Those rakes are huge... Here in Belgium, I've never seen one before. I'm sure they are used, but not where I live. Almost always one row, ore sometimes we see two-row-rakes...

  • To MattijsDeSmedt

I'm sure the contractors must use them? But then, if you have really thick crops a two-row is sufficient.

  • @balmesh What you mean with the contractors: with you in Ireland or here in Belgium. In Belgium it is mostly the farmers who are raking the grass. Contractors do it for smaller farms.

The reason why there is most 1- and 2-row-rakes in Belgium is the existence of very small fields...

  • To MattijsDeSmedt

I know little about Ireland, as I'm in Wales, but we have our share of small fields here plus very narrow lanes with high hedge-banks. Here it seems that small farmers do their own thing and it's the large farmers who use the contractor.

  • @balmesh Oh... I'm sorry, my mistake..

  • To MattijsDeSmedt

    No problem. I'm not offended!

  • Great.

  • To williboy95

    Same to you, William!

  • nice video, and which new holland is this at the beginning?

  • To eicher3156

I'm afraid I can't tell you. Looks to me like a TM and they have 120, 135 and 175 versions.
