  • its mother fuckers like this who fucked up the world selling dope hoes fucked up moms and dads and this is cool think about it now look at the world

  • HipHop is dead...shit, the man who said it is dead too. And "we" killed them. 98 was hiphops biggest year and coincidentaly came downloading the same year. It was all downhill from there...the love is still there tho, don't get (that) fucked up.

  • I know Blow Fly he lives in Miami

  • ALL DIS SHIT IS HIPHOP.HIPHOP LIVES IN EVERYTHING DAMN NEAR.

  • this is edited weird as fuck.

  • blowfly the real too short

  • You guys were awesome, my favorite song is Radioactivity Rap.

  • can anyone tell me whats the first song that start at 1:03

  • hip hop is poetry.hip hop & rap started from these guys.rap and hip hop started in the west.

  • Who ever thinks poetry is not rap, your dead fuckin worng!!!!! Rap is poetry an poetry is rap. Poetry is an expression of feelings and rap is the expression of feeling with beat. Listen to tupac and you will see what i'm saying.

  • @541Gettoboy THE ROOT WORD OF RAP IS RAPOETRY FOOLS

    peace to all tru heds

    OH AND RHYTHM IS LIFE

  • @541Gettoboy Excuse me but you are wrong. You do not understand the origin of poetry and its aesthetics. The art and styles of being a Mc, you could say that has more of a Jazz influence. You can also say origin too! For example, listen to Cab Calloway's Jumpin Jive. You can also hear it in Louis Jordan too! Spoken Word is the offspring of POETRY, this is why people confuse the two.

  • @ozzdubar Thanks for keepin it real and knowing your shit, which is more than I can say for many people

  • CAN SUMWUN PLEASE TELL ME THE ARTIST AND/OR TITLE OF THE SONG THAT BEGINS PLAYING AT PRECISELY (min)2:39 (sec) ... ?????PLEASE??????

  • WATTS PROFETS!! AMDE THATS WASSUP

  • RAP is poetry but POETRY is not rap

  • old shit man

  • very nice!!..............Peace!

  • WATTS UP

  • Hey I dig this video- this is some great stuff, DJFlash808! Great 2 hear that Blowfly funk, too!

  • Nice post. However, Poetry is not Hip Hop.

  • @ozzdubar I AGREE....BUT WERE TALKIN RAP...NOT HIP-HOP......THERES A DIFFERANCE,..AND WOULDN'T YOU AGREE THAT RAP IS POETRY .

  • @djflash808 I didn't see this, so excuse my lateness. No I do not. Rap is an industry term. Being an Emcee is what we're talking about. I understand why people confuse the two especially because of the spoken word movement. Both are literary arts though, but the main reason why they're compared is because those words evoke passion and meaning.

  • @ozzdubar Not only is poetry is Hip Hop, it is the foundation of Hip Hop...

  • @UniqueDaPoet I disagree. Great Mc's have been compared to poets because Hip Hop artists were not considered musicians. Poetry and its aesthetic qualities has many forms but you cannot say that 16 bars and 17 syllables of a Haiku are from the same root.

  • @ozzdubar i agree...it's the otherway around

  • @ozzdubar How do you think RAP got its name. R.A.P. is the art of talking shit. ie.. talking about stuff you dont have or wish you have, pimpin hoes, and slinging dope. RAP gave birth to Hip-hop and Hip-hop gave birth to some bullshit with no social commentary.

  • @arahb1 You clearly do not know what you are talking about. Hip Hop the culture started with one man Cool Herc. The term 'Rap' is an industry term. The culture calls it being an Emcee (Mc). The 4 elements are the; Emcee, Dj, B-boy, and Graffiti artists.

  • @ozzdubar Ah yeah it is. It's the roots of it all.

  • hey guys, it's very important and urgent, one Dj in Italy says with a US video document that the first group put his Rap on vinyl was The FatBack Band whit KING TIM III on April 1979, i'm not agree, does anyone of you can say to me if this is right or do you have another record?

I hope you understand my italenglish

    Thanks for a quick answering

    Peace and love...

  • ITS TRUE.

  • @nicobeat2 I SUPPOSE HE COULD BE RIGHT ! .. BUT THEN AGAIN..IT COULD HAVE BEEN SOMEONE...NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF....SOME RARE, OBSCURE RECORD ..ON SOME FORGOTTEN LIL INDE. LABEL .... SO FAR I DONT THINK A RECORD LIKE THAT HAS SURFACED ,... UNTILL THEN...I THINK KING TIM HOLDS THAT HONOR

  • @nicobeat2 THEY ARE ONE OF THE GROUPS

  • @nicobeat2 Is it still of interest to you? You can send me a message if you're interested. I am looking into the history of rap myself.

    Sincerely

    Preben Lang
