i still have a tape of metal church from the '80 end of the '80.....do not remember the title right now but I loved that one I liked the singer during that time.....
While the "rights" that our forefathers (and even some of our own fathers/grandfathers) fought for are slowly being stripped away , each day a bit more than the last, don't forget to continue speaking your mind. Don't ever let the fear of our government hold you back from saying what you mean! It's crazy how our fathers all saw this coming, but forgot.
There's one hour I am in you tube listening to excellent bands like Razor,Over Kill,Destruction,Agent Steel and Whiplash, but Metal Church was the best...hail from Brazil to all of them
I heard this song the first time in high-school...now I'm 45 years of age! And to this very day, I listen to this song when working-out at my local gym!!!!

@666stet - When I bought this album in the 80s the vinyl had a little paper insert with an order form for T-shirts... and a Metal Church neck brace. After listening to it I could understand why it was an appropriate accessory.

I remember getting this album when it was released to hear their version of Highway Star by Purple and becoming an instant fan of Metal Church. It was an awesome debut album
this is the only album metal church did using e flat tuning...thats why the slayer comparisons...but i have a sneaking suspicion that the tuning is what really makes this album a gem...the dark was standard ..and it was missing something?
@Gatida metal church is truly awesome...but your wrong..they really never were thrash...and thats been an ongoing debate forever....they really were a cross between traditional metal power metal and thrash...which they forged into something known as speed metal...and thats what they are ...speed metal...and they are masters of it

@Metallicat8888 I woudn't want them to get big like Metallica, look at how Metallica turned out. I wish they would've got the respect like early Metallica.
@Metallicat8888 Because the music you are listening to was written in 1982 and back then it was so ahead of its time that the record companies wouldn't release it - they thought it was too heavy. After a couple of years knocking on people's doors they finally found a company that was willing to work with them and so in 1984 their first album was released.
