  • When Joe grabbed the locket & he was staring at it, I started crying.

Then, when he let go, I started crying so much, I couldn't see. :')

  • Why is just the thought of Super 8, so.....so amazing? Every time I even see the picture I start crying. It's.......I don't even know how to describe it.

  • my most favorite part of song is from 2:58 till the end. great original movie story line, its very realistic. it really would seem gvt would be heartless and keep a friendly alien hostage to learn its technology.

  • @adult1tube Yeah Same Here! That's when I start to tear up!

  • great movie and song particularly when you realize none of the main actors are well known. shows the value of great directors.

  • @CupCake11Productions Yes this is the song that is playing.

  • i only feel this way listening to the theme of jurassic park

  • @CupCake11Productions This is from the part you're thinking of. But Super 8 Suite also has that awesome melody so you should probably pick that one up as well.

  • This is the part that put tears in my eyes.

  • Inspirational piece of music.

  • Truly beautiful, and the perfect way to end such a fantastic film. Pure love went into this score, you can feel it.

  • i cried ;(

  • @iZFX me too and im a guy

  • @wd1250 so am i...

  • 6 more days till this comes out.

  • This is my song! :3

  • Steven Spielberg and John Williams, J. J. Abrams and Michael Giacchino! :) One of the best people in the movie world!

  • One of the most emotional scores I've ever heard in my life. I wish I could play this for band class. It's so beautiful:-)

  • There's a reason there are 0 dislikes. It's inhuman to dislike this.

  • This was my fave film of the year and I just love Giacchino's work on this, Up and Lost. What a legend.

  • Finally a good old-style movie and a powerful soundtrack that could deserve an Oscar... again? Yes, again, another one for Mr. Giacchino!

  • i think it's amazing!!!!! i love it, i cry every time i listen. At the minutes 1;50 and 3:40 i would cry every time. I've seen 5 time and it's my favorite movie with alla the Fincher's films

  • One of the best films ever, the music is soooo good I loved It excellent, thanks for posting this soundtrack

  • Hands down one of the greatest pieces in a movie i have ever heard. The way the song transitions from the beginning to the inspiration part is spectacular. Everytime i hear this song i picture him holding his moms necklace as it floats in the air...

  • 0 dislikes.... curious.. and interesting....

  • Super 8 is one of the best films of the year. I really liked the idea for the film, where these kids are making their own zombie movie with an 8mm film camera. I also think that this movie does a great job doing a homage to the classic Steven Spielberg films (For example: Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and E.T.). Also, the acting, especially from Joel Courtney, Elle Fanning and Kyle Chandler, was excellent. I'm going to give it a 10/10.

    J.J. Abrams, EXCELLENT JOB!!!!!!!

  • This track along with the Lost tracks is proof that Michael Giacchino is one of the best composers around!!!!

  • super 8 : lost soundtrack; move on: suite

  • @jjsantos10sa You are so right!!! This does remind me of the "Moving On" score. Especially starting at 1:40

  • @GotLost86 ok ¡¡ enjoy the score¡¡

  • Wow, just half way through and I'm already choked up and teary eyed. This score is unbelievably beautiful. How amazing it is that a series of sounds can stimulate your emotional senses, it's extraodinary!

  • This is one of the best scores in the last 20 or so years. It's too bad movies don't want this type of music any more. This type of score is truly a lost art.

  • The film was unoriginal, but touching ;) <3

  • Shivering all over my body

How come a music happen to be so melancholic and hopefull in the same time ?

    I'm moved

  • What´s the music for when the alien takes Alce??

    Thank´s!

  • I will pick up from where I left off.I also enjoyed the music scores to Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows by Alexandre Desplat and Captain American America First Avenger by Alan Silvestri for there rich and lush orchestration ,motifs and most important lryicisim. How ever the tenderness, and child hood purity ect comes through even better with the Super score by Michael Giacchino. The use of the "Wagnerian" motif can be traced back to other classic Williams scores.Chaleriagorn army trombonist.

  • I know have the cd everyone !! I have read the program notes by JJ Abrams on the CD Album.I understand now what it is that I truly enjoyed from this movie.JJ Abrams writes it was the purity of the age ,the since of curiosity, fear, uncertainty and romanticism of being a boy and looking to what is ahead. That is what I found so compelling and moving in this film and in the score by Michael Giacchino. I will my comments in another post

  • i love this song...i remember the love that i feel with my loved ones...and about all...the love of my mom....I LOVE YOU! FOREVER! PERHAPS NEVER READ IT, BUT...YOU ARE SO SPECIAL IN MY LIFE

  • A great score from Mr. Giacchino. It touches your heart, your soul.

  • Fantastic score.

  • This one would have to be my favorite of this amazing soundtrack!

  • this is too much! :)

  • A great example of a film that gets extra points for the soundtrack alone. I had it at about a 6/10 until I heard this at the very end, which knocked it up to a 7.

  • @anaplastypicasso shut up

  • @anaplastypicasso no one cares if you gave it a 6/10 or 7/10, You either liked it or didn't like it. For example, i didn't like your comment so i gave you a thumbs down (and a 2/10)

  • I continue to be moved to tears everytime I listen to this score and this track. This movie score by Michael Giacchino is very much deserving of a nomination for best original score. The only epic films scores by the old maestro and master John Williams which tug and I do mean tug at the heart strings almost as well are the scores to ET and Hook.Michael Giacchino makes good use of the Wagnerian lietmotif along with good chromaticisim and lyric tenderness.Chaleriagorn, sound track enthusiast

  • @Chaleriagorn Wagnerian, no wonder I loved it the first time i heard him :p
