Damn Saftran hybrids. I dont like it. I would like it to keep the hammer off the gong so that it will vibrate.

I think it is. It sounds just like the other one in New Lenox, but this one rings all the way through. Not many EJ&E crossings do that.

I would guess they should stay until at least the end of March/beginning of April. They usually lease engines when the lakes freeze up for taconite trains.
Do you know how long the HLCX engines will stay leased to the EJ&E?
