It was Writing Week! And that week was a more serious week. Insanity resumes this week, however. (Still figuring out what I'm going to be talking about...)
You know, with a bit of money you can actually buy the superpower to turn the light on and off with a finger snap.
If you kill me, please do so by cutting up my stomach and eating jello right out of it. Just so I can tell everyone in the afterlife that I knew this would happen.
If I kill you, I will cut up your stomach, but I probably won't eat jello from it. I will probably throw up and pass out, actually. But since I'll have that image in my head, I will probably eat jello for a long time while I can't hold down solid food.
I remember storytelling in elementary school. We had a special class and everything to learn how to tell stories orally in front of groups. That's were my love of Story Telling came from. I think it was in 3rd grade. But writing them down came much later in high school.
Interesting how people develop into writers! And I know you will be published ;D
I think its really interesting why people start writing, or how they are molded into writers. I feel very much like I was molded (maybe not purposely, but in a way that looking back, the choice was obvious).
I'm very fascinated by people like 2SDY Katie who start writing at a much older age and why they start. Since that's not my experience, it's a little more interesting to me to hear about that.
I agree it's interesting to hear about how people who are not molded into it start falling in love with writing. I look forward to the next writing week!
I knew this was probably going to be a rambly video just because there is no way to sum up that answer in 4 minutes, but I was surprised that it was almost linear! (Even though I did start rambling about mutant powers.)
I promise, the book will be amazing, um, once we get past the first chapter. Heh.
You didn't film this in enough different places. I demand at least ten next time.
I like that your mum encouraged you to write stories. Mine didn't DIScourage me, but there was a sort of "Wouldn't you rather do something that would actually earn money?" feel in the air.
Also, telekinesis would be a fine power to have. I always wanted something that allowed me to control computers. Because I'm too lazy to use my hands, apparently.
I'll take that challenge! (I was just having fun moving around my parents' house.)
I think it started off just as encouraging me to do something creative and intellectual—she did that a lot, trying to give me as many opportunities as possible. But when I sat down and finished The Novel Of Which We Do Not Speak, she understood I was serious and then started helping me realize that goal.
If you were telekinetic, you could type with your mind. Duh.
Well yes, but it was going to go far beyond typing. I'm not sure where, exactly. I did have this completely awesome dream once where I could turn things on and off just by thinking at them. It was so convenient.
If you knew where the switches were, I believe you could to that as a telekinetic. You wouldn't be able to like, fix something electronic, but you could turn it on.
Also, just for your future reference, you want to be a technopath.

Thank you. I appreciate the effort.
And like you need an excuse to live off jello for a week. ;p

I like my style, too.

Killing would be easier, but browbeating into submission would be more fun and profitable!
