Well I suppose. I love Mitchell and Webb, this succeeds because it isn't specifically AHD. If they'd explicitly stated it was him, they'd have had to have made him a history presenter rather than an expert. It's a general point they are making too, about how the TV people like to sex up and dumb down academic subjects for mass consumption. Personally, I learned more about World War II from Dad's Army than from any history books!
