If this is your first time playing the series you should really have started with MGS2 I know it's not chronological order but because of things that happen in MGS2 but context what happens in this game despite this being a prequel.
@nofxmike06 Just the game in general... but it's not just me Hideo Kojima himself says you should play the series in release order and not chronological order if you want the best experience i just agree with him. I think you'd get a better experience and more enjoyable playing 2 before 3
@GTG145 nooo lol if u play mgs4 snake will aim where ever u point the camera. And not where snake is facing. It makes for tricky aiming when is player orientated.

You mean you prefer the old Snake Eater camera over the Subsistence camera? No way... that's just weird. Subsistence gave us control. With the old camera, and no radar, you were constantly running into the field of view of enemies not yet in the player's field of few... unless you stop every few seconds to use first person view. It was horrible... that's why they changed it, and why people have been buying subsistence for crazy money for years.

You still have some suppressors, but you have to go to your gun and press a button (IDK which, I have it for PS3) to equip it. You can tell how many you have by the little number that appears near one that you equip.
If you hold down the CQC button, you can grab an enemy and hold as hostage. Hold down the button hard while holding to slit their throat. CQC Button + Move the Control stick will let you slam them into the ground, knocking them out. Only do it with weapons with "CQC" near them.
@wwfbrawler781 Thanks for the info! I was recording this all in one session and I think I learn about the other suppressors I had in the next episode, I'll be sure to use the CQC info!
@GTG145 Well its always Better to play By release date first Like when I first got all MGS games I was excited to play MGS3 but I had to play MGS1 and 2 first which I did. I dont know mabye its just me I am a freak when it comes in playing A series in the right order.
@delta2ish I get what your saying about order and stuff, I have those kind of things too where you HAVE to play them in the right order, sadly Metal Gear isn't one of those for me haha
