    Solution for hiccups! Works for me!

    Take a sugar packet, the kind they serve in restaurants, (steal a couple and put them away for times like this). Open the sugar packet, and gradually put some on your tongue, allow it to dissolve on the tongue,and swallow, until the stomach absorbs the sugar, slowly...finish the whole sugar packet if you have to, do it over 4-10 minutes...the hiccups will be gone since the refined sugar radically changes the chemical balances in your stomach,

  • whoa I'm gonna have to write this down somewhere and take notes frequently to remember

  • i get a cup of water - and i drink from the opposite side of the cup (the bit of the cup furthest away from your lips).

    to drink it i have to bow down so the cup tips over and i end up drinking "upside down".

    it definitely helps. 95% effective rate.

  • My hiccups are loud, obnoxious, jarring, and can last for days on and off. The worst part is that it's usually triggered by finding something absolutely hilarious.

    My Hiccups are so jarring that I thrash frantically while walking in public. It's horrifically hilarious. Getting really angry usually gets it to go away. Of course I'm pissed for a few minutes after somebody pretends to be angry with me about something.
