I kind of agree with Norman, but I think Songveacha should sing Bong Samouth's songs in his own style. To even think you could try to imitate the legend is very annoying.
To me, it's even more annoying when those idiots try to add new soundtrack (such as drums and bass) to the original version, while they can't even keep up with the rhythm. It's when they really really ruin a masterpiece.
instead we should encourage new people 2 sing his songs, or at least not insulting them when they do. by doin' so they show their love 4 his music, help 2 bring new generations 2 his music, and contribute 2 the keepin' of his memories alive.
ok ok i know, no1 can compare 2 him. but frankly as far as i observe, people who sing his songs, includin' present professional cambodian female singers, do so because they love them, not because they want 2 compete against him.
i cant believe how badly the khmer rouge killed Cambodia's growing entertainment. They deserve to go to hell and never come back.
