In this wreck AJ had nowhere to go. No to mention, he does not suck at all in my opinion. He just doesn't have the best equipment (Richard Petty Motorsports is doing quite a poor job all the way around this year, even with Kasey's two wins.) Not to mention, until Fontana, he's had no DNF's this season, quite amazing considering he runs in the 15-25 range every week.
This is why double file restarts work. Jeff moves from 30 something to 5th just 60 laps in and probably was the best car at the 600. Tony Raines, a guy that was already two laps down causes a huge mess that ruined this race.
Why cheer when Kyle Busch is wrecking? Take away 10 years and Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon are similar personalities. They both were/are hotheads who won/win a ton of races and nobody them. Personally, I think if you can't see the difference that's pretty lame.
(And no, I am not a Kyle Busch fan, but a Mark Martin/David Stremme fan.)

When you're a lap down, and not racing against the leader, you should let traffic go by. The easier you go, the harder it is to wreck. Well the problems is Chad keeps getting caught but NASCAR really dosen't send a message to him because the suspensions don't suspend him from shop duty he just can't go to the track. So he can work on the car at the home shop during the week. If NASCAR wants to send a message to cheaters they should send the whole team home.

You're probably right. If it was the new car, that should've been saved, hands down. This old car was a lot harder to save, but I think the 96 was a lap down. When you're a lap down, and not racing against the leader, you should let traffic go by. The easier you go, the harder it is to wreck. BTW, not to be and asshole, but I think the guy in the 96 was Tony Raines. J.J Yeley was still in the #18 car.

I've been a Gordon fan for years, since the early 90's when I started following NASCAR. I choose Gordon because he was not like the rest of the drivers and he was the youngest at the time. I never knew two seasons later he would go on the win 13 times. And 4 champs. later, im still a JG fan.

Well the problems is Chad keeps getting caught but NASCAR really dosen't send a message to him because the suspensions don't suspend him from shop duty he just can't go to the track.
