~~~>> This can all be done best with the client on a long table with the top of their scalp at the edge of the table. This technique is normally a summation to a full body massage, or a 'Spot Treatment'. Keep in mind the endangerment sites, such as too far behind and below the ears. Note: You should never really give a massage to someone if you are unfamiliar with their health, the anatomy of the body, and it's endangerment sites :) Warmest, S. (LMT)
just be really carefull with the ear lobes: my younger sister's earlobes can split from her skin if they get tugged on because of their shape, sometimes the same happens to the place were the backs of her ears meet her head. If you do intend to 'pull a little hard' on the lobes, check first incase they've been known to split. if not, take great care applying pressure, the last thing you want it to cause your client to bleed during a massage.
@GreatkingAlexander No I'm not, but it's just a suggestion for those that are. :P My sister's the only one I know with this problem I think. But then again not everyone I know tugs at their ears to check if they split. My sis is really skittish if ppl try to touch her ears, it's why she won't pierce them so I'm thinking that it's a bit painful. You know how some people have detatched lobes? That's where the split happens...god...It makes sense in my head...you understanding this?
is that a type of reiki?
