In the end it always looked like she said "I know my way home" and wandered off with her hand on her chin thinking "Now... which way is the way home?"
@calculatorguy The Lost boys, Less then Zero, She was an 80's princess, and now she's a cougar !!!! Don't worry Malissa !!!! I'll take you. Sex theripast ? What a turn on .
I think it has to do with the fact that she realized what happened in the garage wasn't the full force of the storm or tornado. She also knew that it wasn't going to work and used this as the leverage to get out before it got too complicated.
She couldn't compete with the whole lifestyle that both he and Jo embrace. The life she wanted to have with him would was not something he could stay with for long. I like when she realizes that she's not really upset over it. They both understood in that moment that they were just looking for different things.
That's basically it. She realizes she can't compete with the risk-taking, adventurous life of the storm chasers -- something both Bill and Jo have in their blood. In fact, you kind of wonder what Bill ever saw in wimpy little Melissa in the first place.

This is the scene after the F4 at the drive in. I know its just a movie, but why would anyone go to a drive in during a thunder storm after a string of tornados threw the state?

Change. I'm like bill. afraid of committment, Malissa was simpler and seemed like the answer
Tom6093 2 years ago
she can't compete cause she knows that bill still loves jo, and jo still loves bill

I used to watch this movie all the time, but everytime I did we had a thunderstorm and my little brother hates storms!

That sucks.
I liked this movie mainly because of Bill Paxton's DODGE & I wanna buy one, so bad, even though I have one, already! (Lol.).
(**I don't know what year it is, or, if it's a RAM 1500, RAM 2500, or, anything like that.**.).
