Hi, I've started playing since the 2nd of this month and starting to pump out a bunch of melodies. I'm now used to the right hand and hav worked out how to use the air valve to aid with my playing. The only thing is I'm not sure how to use the bass and chord buttons practically like in your video. Any chance of a short tutorial? thanks from tassie :p
Hello Tasmania! Just practice left hand by itself, ie oom pah oom pah (bass then chord, bass then chord) or oom pah pah (for waltz). Then try to play the melody at the same time while your left hand is just keeping on going. Then eventually change chords with left hand. Does this help?
I think you are fabulous. I came across your vids cos I bought one of these toy melodeons and struggling to get the hang of it. But you have inspired me onwards and upwards ... hopefully.
With my music, I try to cater for different folks abroad and some folks call these diatonic instruments; accordions and others call them melodeons. So I use both languages in my vids. Thanks.
Good work !
