Freestyle skating actually takes skill. That's why nobody does it anymore. Skate companies 20 years ago realized that you can sell more stuff if you have pros do relatively simple but ballsy stuff that appeals to the sort of jock/big-man-on-campus demographic that most modern skate fags occupy.

I guess you could say the same about everyone who does ollies, kickflips, 360 flips and most other flip tricks because Rod was the first guy to do them. Where as freestyle, Rod has just helped bring it back through the years. This guy here is called Cristobal Bahamonde, definitely has his own style and plenty of combos ive never seen anyone do. Keep it up Cristobal, I enjoyed this! Hope to watch much more of you skating in the future.
