Did you add in the part at :25? Interesting. Try taking it a little faster and an octave lower? 1:10 I believe those are sixteenth notes. 2:25 seemed a bit dragged. Again, try it a bit faster. Having a metronome on mute ticking with the light is a great way to keep tempo. Try not to sneak into the tempo change. "Melody A" is played basically with the lower octave played halfway and finished off with an octave higher. and then a measure of a ritard. But don't make it to slow.
