First of all, we wouldn't have house without a little thing called Sampling, which was invented by the early hip hop producers, looking at the old school underground dance scene (mid 80's) you had people such as Manix using amen breaks (sampled) in order to create the earliest house tracks. Not to mention the spawn of most producers Daft Punk sample stuff...
