If you look past all the X addicts, shufflers and weirdos, LA has probably the healthiest EDM scene outside of Europe in the entire world. To be able to pack 110,000 for a New Year's event, 220,000 at EDC over two days in 09 and 50k+ at every festival, not to mention that clubs sell out real easily for even B- level talent in every genre is very well deserving. I'm glad to call myself a Southern Californian and be a part of it all
