  • ha..very good...love those cute little captions u have there....like a little complimentary narration.........think i'll pick up a ukelele at the flea market this weekend.......enjoyed it!~james~

  • OMG! Smartbluecat is one of my favorite people in the world and probably one of the few people who I've met on the internet who I count as a close friend...and I also owned a Commodore 64! HAHAHA! I'm sure he loved this song and got a great kick out of it as its just fantastic!

  • That was very good.

  • Just saw Alan's (Ukisociety)cover and just had to see the original. Fantastic tune!

  • adorable tune, absolutely adorable!... loved the end (o: , so far this is the awesome-est tag I've watched ~ May you always walk in sunshine ( and play the ukulele )~ Gypsy

  • I do write lists. never lived in a whorehouse. commodore64? dollhouse? nope[s]. primarily, I watch parts of futebol matches - while I walk|run on treadmill [boomerang is great!].

  • when I was about 11, my dad's father passed away. I used to go to my grandparents' house a lot then; small town. there was a [really] big and [really] beautiful tree there, a mango tree. I loved when I had time to climb it up; perfect wind, slow branches. height... sometimes, I wonder where my courage went to: I would probably be scared if I tried to do it now [years... that I haven't visited that town].

  • I wish I could go there, though - close to the night time and get images for this song. I love your music so much, Callie. and adore the images [and the will] that you "ignite" in my head, my heart... abraços. hope you have a great week. :)

  • Dollhouses rock :) Never had one either.

  • A song that was very fitting to the moment here. And i have had a commodore 64 :)

  • hi sven! i mean bjorn, i mean jorn, or joern or whatever <3

  • whatever ;)

  • i am a cartoon robot who was programmed on a commodore 64 in an abandoned whorehouse..

  • everything about your comment is wonderfully exciting!!

  • What a sweet little 'dumb owl' you are!

I so wish I could send you the best doll house in the whole world.

    lots of love,

    Gary's friend, great Aunt Jules.x.x.

  • oooh! well, i want the playmobil modern villa - just in case you happen to trip over one someday and don't know what to do with it ;-D

i always wanted a great aunt jules <3

  • Well, we're all here playing in cyberspace .

I am Aunt Jules to my nephews, I am great Aunt Jules to those who think I am great. I have no neices - did I just adpot one?

    .x.

  • i have no aunts (or uncles) unfortunately, nearly my entire family is dead - so i'd be THRILLED to be adopted as a niece ;-D

  • Cyberform:

I hereby declare that I have a cyberniece.

She never has to comment on my videos. She has to continue to write and sing and try very hard to be happy.

If she is not happy she must always tell me and I always try to help.

Above all, she must know that she is a wonderful human being and that she is loved.

    .x.

  • It really fun to listen to your tune-age! 5 stars :-)

  • I saw "c'mere" and thought it was french.

I like this version a lot. I'm lo-fi at heart.

I put "live in an old whorehouse" on my to-do list.

I used to watch cartoons primarily (adult swim, south park) but I think that's changed to colbert/daily show and british sitcoms. Primarily I like watching you youtube =]

  • i liked reading your comment w/ this song in the background - like we're talking at a coffee shop somewhere where the singer is so great but unknown and we like listening & drinking the hot cider. But, then you start saying things like "I only watch PBS" & say things in french when english would do just as well. You ask me for the 3rd time, "What's Yaffle like?" then you eventually leave and I pick up the tab & find out you ordered bagels to go. meh you're lousy company - but I still her singing

  • bwhahahah...that's hilarious.

yaffle is amazing. i like cream cheese on my bagels. i hate the french language - HATE IT. i love ranch doritos and snickers bars.

  • That was not a dumb song. You fail at dumb.

  • well, well...YOU fail at UGLY. you also fail at STUPID!

    ;-D

  • Oh yeah? Oh yeah? Well, you fail at...at...unhygienic!

  • You rock so hard! Miss you terribly. Was whining to Kiwi about it the other day.

Stuck watching French TV at the moment. Possibly worse than Belgian but neither could be as bad as Swiss.

Negative on the whorehouse or dollhouse.

    <3!!!

  • you're still around?! why don't you ever make videos? make one pls ;-D

  • Moved to Germany in August, spent 8 nights there then had to go to France to work. Now have to fly back to Australia to complete the job. I've only made private birthday ones recently, or done collabs. I'm on Facebook and Twitter all the time. PM me for details if that's your thing too.

  • Oh callie, I also haven't talked with you for a long time. How is it in Belgum? How you feel?

I've sill your CD next to me. I see your lovely cover every day and it make me smile every day :)

    Thank you Callie

    I love you :)

    Tim

  • i feel really good! somedays i feel terribly homesick, but lately I feel good ;-)

    i love you BACK!

  • Sweetie I haven't talked to you in so long. Foe some reason I cannot get a hold of you. How are you doing? I am kinda surprised we haven't met up again.

  • what happened to my comment?!

well, once again, did you try to get ahold of me? I'd LOVE to see you again. it has been so insane, but in the meantime we've moved to the center of antwerp and i'm much happier. also, the boys are in a much better school.

do you have the right gsm number for me?

  • I don't think so. I tried to instant message you a couple of times. Maybe I schould have called you. but I don't really call much. My parents are gone for a couple of days and I know it's kinda short notice but maybe we could come on monday or tuesday and if not send me a message to work something out.

  • hmmm...i don't remember getting any IM's! i wonder if you have the wrong number...

well, this next week is going to be a bit crazy (roel is starting a new job,) but i think the week after that is open ;-D

  • ok...will ask Ingrid and let you know

    yes I think so too

  • number three: openieuenco!

  • wait till you see the shit they have in the antwerp ones! amazing!

  • i had a commodor64. I'm constantly homesick for the home I've never had. I write lists allll the time, without them, I forget things. And I currently reside in a dollhouse of whore dolls, so I suppose that's a two-fer eh?

    You look well pretty lady.

  • that's a 3-fer!

i'm feeling ok, what about you?

  • Mariam! Does this mean you got hold of thosecool ball joint dolls?

  • you know it!

  • Oooooh! I wanna see! I wnna see! You HAVE GOT to make a video! I must see them struggling with ennui!

  • you don't want me to smother you with love?! OMG! i'm crushed!

  • I love this one too. I love everything you do, even how you blow your nose. (Yes, I stand outside your house at night hoping you will blow your nose.)

  • omg, best compliment ever! every time i scratch my nose i'll think of you;-) <3

  • I love the lighting in this video. It is so great. You look so beautiful. Very creative way you did this. I make lists all the time. How do you manage not doing it? Really, how do you keep track and not forget, or do you just accept forgetting?

  • well, i don't make lists and i always forget tons of things i meant to remember. its sort of like a game i always play with myself. unfortunately i always lose! ;-D

  • I like how you ask the questions after the facts...for some reason it reminds me of something from a Cohen song.

  • i think he just came to belgium on tour, i didn't even know he was still alive!

  • I had a colorcovision & then a nintendo back in 1985. I to watch a lot of cartoons. Boomerang is wonderful but H. Barbara can get old, I like the black & white era. The old popeyes & Betty boops as well as bosko & honey. I won't sat much more cause I know to much about everthi g.

  • i love popeye. if i ever have a daughter i'll name her olive.

  • commodore64 really was something awesome. my parents wouldn't get me one so i had to go to a friend's house to play. well worth the walk.

  • i had to go next door to play atari....;-D

  • I miss those times of 38911 free bytes. Shouldn't have sold it back when.

  • remember no computers, no cell phones, tv only being on for a couple hours a day with only 3 channels? those were the BEST times! <3

  • So mythical a landscape the world seemed back then, waiting to be explored, uncharted. Yonder be monsters and exciting things! And how invincible we felt. <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

  • I had a 64 with the cassette tapes

  • omg, where is it now????

  • I'm a German Shepard puppy that lives in a warehouse. 8-)

Great vid & song, THANKS! ;-)

  • i love german shepherds! i love warehouses!!!! WOWOWOWOW!!! <3

  • as a kid i kept my batman action figures housed with my sister's barbies in her dollhouse. and from time to time he'd take barbie's pink stretch limo (with a jacuzzi in the back) for a ride. even tho pocahontas was his gf not barbie. i guess that makes him a man whore. either way it's never too late to own a dollhouse i say!

  • i always knew batman was a man-whore. this has just proven it! do you batman's phone number?

  • I made a sort of dollhouse thing out of cardboard for my gi joes, it had a working lift and everything! I will make you a crappy cardboard dollhouse.

  • omg! that would be the best dollhouse ever!

  • Awesome video. I just listened to the song from your link - so so cool! I loved how some of your "c'mere"s sounded almost impatient. Your lyrics are amazing.

    I love you.

  • !!!! i feel so loved !!!! yeah, c'mere is an impatient type of songs with impatient-type thoughts!

    ;-)

  • Lovely lovely!

I've always wanted a doll's house as well. I'm going to get one and have every room a re-enactment of a scene from a favourite book or film. That or I'll just play with the dolls and throw them all down the stairs!

I primarily watch BBC period dramas.

Hope you are well, loves <3

  • lets bring the dollhouses to the picnic and stage a whole neighborhood! that'll be wonderful!

love love love to you little deer

  • 1. You know the difference between an old whorehouse and a former whorehouse? ;^)

I lived in a house that was 'branded' a whorehouse because it got a purple and pink paint job.

2 Me too. Penguin adventure was great.

3 No dollhouse. Lego was my medium.

    4 I watch you. ;^)

No matter how unsatisfied you were or seemed to be with this song, I loved it. Specially the C'mere/I'm here combo is inspired.

  • actually, i love this song...i'm mostly hay with my performance of it here. the recorded version is actually quite...ummm..."heavy", or maybe just emotionally charged. you should hear it, just use the link in the info box.

playmobil is totally my medium. playmobil and puppies. ;-D

  • I DID just listen to your performance on your radio channel.

    THAT WAS BLOODY INTENSE!!!!

I get why you thought less of this one.

    I'm the puppy.

    Gotta love me. ;^)

  • if you were a german shepherd puppy i'd smother you with love

  • Sorry. Dutch Shepherd.

Less obedient but also less likely to start a war. ;^)

  • there are special belgian shepherds here; they're not so great.

where i come form they say "if you're not dutch, you're not much" ;-D

  • Well I *AM* dutch and we don't even say that. ;^)

    Pennsylvania dutch?

  • Im not sure how I found you, Im glad though. I think you just found my inner-teen-girl, sorta thing. Is this good when you are a fourty one year old man, married withchildren? lol. Can I join your club anyhow?

  • well, as a 32 year old married girl (i'd NEVER call myself a woman) with 2vchildren i say OF COURSE YOU CAN JOIN!

just make sure and leave your logic at the door ;-)

  • Your music is way too cool. thanks.

  • no, thank EWE!

  • When you say that you live in an old whorehouse do you mean that it used to be a whorehouse? Or that it's a whorehouse specializing in old whores?

  • well, old whores do have their charm, but no...this house is really a several hundred year old nunnery. after the nuns moved out, the whores moved in. you see, my house is in an ancient antwerp alley-way. it's actually really special. there are about 5 houses here. when the whores moved out (i'm guessing in the 60's) regular folks moved in. well, and then i got here ;-)

  • yes.

living in a whorehouse would be less hectic.

    yes. 80's child

    no, but my daughter does.

    cartoons as well.

    but they make great waffles.

    Cool song!.

  • i had a belgian waffle once. i didn't see what all the fuss was about. i've had better at many 1a.m. greasy spoons;-)

  • I've never had a Belgian Belgian waffle.

I agree with you though and the Waffle House Belgian waffles are great for soaking up the alcohol.

  • oh yes! waffle houses are so wonderful. almost makes me want to get drunk and find myself one...

  • Belgian TV isn't that great... so true! Great song!

  • thank you dear, bcurious2. your icon still thrills me!

  • That was great!

    :o)

    Not a fail at all.

You live in an old whorehouse, is that like your version of the bat cave? owlphanumeric is such a superhero name. Lovely song. I hope you get your doll house this Christmas.

    Thank you for doing this.

    :o)

  • i hope i get a dollhouse for christmas too. i want the fancy playmobil one....we'll see. i haven't been completely nice, but not completely naughty either;-) maybe santa claus will have pity on me and bring me one anyway...;-D
