I downloaded a file from detonation films and when I try to put the clips into vegas 8, A. I can't change their format so that I can put them into Vegas (it comes in an "unsupported format") and B.my computer says that the file is potentially harmful. HELP??

I ask because allways when i render, the video is allright and sound effects come at the right time. But when i put it to youtube, sound effects come a little late. I dont want that to happen, so could you tell how you render your videos cause your sounds are coming at right time as i see.

Almost all files come as an .MOV file opening as a quicktime. You can find a converter. Theres one i use i found it quickly, you can unlimitadly convert .MOV to WMV as long as the file isn't over 5 minutes, Thats what I use. I convert the MOV to WMV, quick easy, and then you have you video.

I belive this way will only work with windows though.

It is stock footage from Detonation films you can get to there site from our homepage, link in the description

check to make sure you have the latest codecs for the effected video file. I believe most of them are quicktime.

there are 4 free muzzle flash videos and one of the videos has 10 muzzle flashes in it

dude insted of having a hard time lining it up..u should use track motion...and the directions wont be different when you angle the flash...:D

The reason the site uses download mirrors id becuase so many people download the free files theey can overwhelm them at times. So if it is just giving you an error while dowloading the file keep trying or try one of the mirrors. The files are alos zipped so you will need to unzip them with winzip or 7zip or somthing

Yes you can I just went and tested the links myself, We mirror files for them sometimes there's just to high a demand and the download links for the free stuff doesn't work but you just have to keep trying
