@TheHomeAppliances Because the rotation of the brush got jammed when the roomba was in contact with that window frame. The torque in this case is too high for the brush motor so it stops spinning and continues after a sec or so. It actually makes sense to protect the brush/motor/gears/cogs, whatever, from being damaged.
That's a damage prevention mechanism, it triggers when the robot feels or "believes" the brush is stuck.
See how it goes backwards for a few seconds? Every motor of the roombas have sensors to prevent them from burning if they get stuck or are put under excessive stress.
