There shouldn't even be a debate about whether or not Cameron meant what she said when she was pleading for her life. It was clearly a ploy to stop John from removing her chip because later on in that episode she approached Sarah and said if she ever went bad again to not let John fix her.

She was clearly trying to trick him, we know that for the reasons that you stated. But we can still debate whether or not she was telling the truth when she said she loved him. It could have been the classic case of mixing lies with the truth in order to manipulate.

The show's main concept and Summer Glau could have so much potential. But most episodes are just bad written. Only the ones focused on Cameron are really interesting. I wish her character wasn't this neglected.

Last week's episode definitely didn't neglect her. Unfortunately, it seems to me that they are going to kill her off. PLEASE DON"T SPOIL, IF ANYONE KNOWS. Once again this show has succeeded in worrying me that she'll die (be destroyed).
