On the same dummies, self buffed, i can do 9k dps, if i pop my Doomgaurd (10 min cooldown), ill easily do 11k

Btw, Hast is no longer THAT important for the warlock. You're going to want to gem Intelect and Spell Crit Rating. The reason for this: Casting 2 spells for 5k dps is not better than casting 1 for 20k dps.. think about it, and you'll see the light :)

@digitalprophet04 Mastery is the main priority, especially for destruction warlocks. If you are playing destro you want to gem/chant int and haste, but reforge all your gear mastery. (make sure you are still hit caped, and spellpen cap if you pvp)

Since 4.0.1 patch, ive specc'd my lock at 2/3/31, and my GS is 5.7 My rotation is Immo, Conflag, Chaos Bolt, and spam Incinerate. I agree with Desi, popping conflag off the bat will give you the same amount of dps whether you pop it at the start or in the middle. And, in light of the new abilities they give you, such as soulburn, you don't want to get caught in the middle of your rotation with Immo dropping off your target, making you retarget and start your rotation over.

Disagree with the rotation. Coe, immolate, then conflag then chaos bolt and incinerate. Conflag gives a haste buff and you want to benefit from it asap.

And conflag will referesh fast enough (so you get 2 of them on the same immolate) provided you have enough haste rating.

And 5/5 supression is over kill with the amount of hit rating tier 10 has. Might wanna get some numbers crunched and find the optimal spec / gear.

@TheAmericanDesi I dont use confl after immo because of latency.. no matter how good your connection is you will lose a couple ms by using confl after immo.. and inc benefits more from backdraft than cb.. it also feels more smooth with casting a spell between immo and confl.. the number of points put in suppression all depends on your gear.. at the making of this video I didnt have enough hit, so I put points in suppression (its 3/3, not 5/5 btw)

@PurplePanda1233 its Perl Classic Unit Frames.. very simple and straight-forward unitframe addon.. I think it was one of the first addons I started using, and Im still using it to this day :) The buttons and rest of the UI is mostly Bartender4

All warlocks should get Buttontimers and set the line to horizontal:) then drag the spells from your spellbook and onto the line.. choose CD or aura and enjoy slacking:p

I find that quite inconvinient at fights like Putri hc, when you have to track the plague, and those lines are over your screen.

You're way over haste cap, you definitly need to compensate with hit. And also, people get to deep into this game.. I know you want to do max DPS but come on.. Its a game, for fun not for being serious and organized.

@pwuint12 there is no haste cap, it all depends on raid buffs.. with heroism the cap is at 500-600, but you dont have heroism all the time do you?.. without heroism the haste cap is somewhere at 1400 haste.. and I always raid with a shadow priest so no need for more hit, that would be a waste of stats.. anyways, I dont play destro anymore as affliction is a lot more fun :)

@pwuint12 also, wow was a lot of fun in the beginning when it was all brand new and noone knew anything.. now a days you know everything about it so trying to do top dps and clearing high end content is all that is left that is fun for me.. and pvp, which is still a lot of fun

@pwuint12 As sekalf2 said there's no "real" haste cap, there's what I would call a soft cap which is round about 700 if i'm corect, whatsoever that's only inorder to benifit 100% from bl/hero, which doesn't last trough the whole fight. And playing affli as I do I'm at 927haste with spellstone, and im still going for more :>

in the end it's the same. You won't crit at much indeed, but your time on casting a spell is almost none, look at the speed he's casting. He may need some crit more indeed. But still wished i had the same gear like him xD

Well, if you compare my stats vs his ( Notice, not trying to say im better or anything like that) i got ,with spyglass trinket and glyph of lifetap up around 3600 sp, 43%crit ( with my +5% in talent) and 490 haste, and i can do easy 7-7500 dps on a hc dummy selfbuffed, so imo you should go for Sp > Crit>haste>Sprit,

@bajjamajja92 well according to all sources for stat comparisons (like elitistjerks) haste is a much more important stat than crit.. but a balanced amount of stats is of course the best way to go.. you dont want too much of one stat, no matter what stat it is.. the problem with crit is that is more expensive than haste (need more for each %), and also that it is based on RNG.. with only a lot of crit rating, then your dps is based mostly on luck, and that is never a good thing

@Sekalf2 - Well, in raids i got around 60% crit so i dont need so much luck to crit, but ofc alot of 1 stat and less in an otherone is bad,, but i think 400-500 haste for a destro lock is enough,, thats why im gemming crit instead of hatse, are you over 50% crit raidbuffed you often ending up criting. nice 5 star. When I used to play, I got this kind of rotation from somewhere and they told me to use a level 1 Lifetap just to trigger some kinda buff in the rotation, and use the main Lifetap for when we need it.

@apex there's a couple things you should do: if the socket bonus is +7 spell power or more you should follow the gem colours (red=+23sp, yellow=+12sp/+10haste, blue=+12sp/+10spi) otherwise go for +23sp.. you must change your meta gem to Chaotic Skyflare Diamond, and change glyph of immo to glyph of incinerate.. your trinkets are pretty terrible, but I know its hard to get good ones :).. also, try to get rid of the pvp gear and enchantments, and level up your professions :P
