I couldn't agree with you more Kwing. TMNT IV is the greatest beatem-up. Heck whenever I see an old buddy of mine, we make it a competition of who gets the most points at the end of the game. It's perfectly fine that you guys did Normal. Hard mode would require more concentration and therefore and would lack in the commentary department. I love the dynamic between you two. Kwing is more focused on beating up the foot soldiers while Kwife and can focus on other side commentaries ^_^

THat's hilarious as the game starts playing by itself, we see Mike (player 2) on screen wailing on the enemies but Leo, is supposedly getting all the kill points. I'd say that's an oversight or a glitch in the programming of the game during the "demo's" that play from the title screen.
To throw an Enemy, you simply stand next to them by a certain "distance" and press Y (the attack button), you should throw them at the screen.
While attacking and being a certain distance / closeness to the enemy, as the above. Hold down and hit Y button to grab the enemy and toss him back and forth. Throwing enemies is 3 point kills, you get 2 points per anyone you kill the other way, and normal kills you usually get 1 point.
Mike is the strongest and highest defense, but second slowest, Leo is the most balanced, Don is slow, second lowest defense but the longest attack radius. Raph is the fastest but has the worst defense.
11:21 YES! It's the Moonbase Alpha song! (I know that's not where it comes from, but it's where I first heard it and where it became iconic for me). If you don't know what I'm talking about, just search youtube for "Moonbase Alpha" and click the second or first search results. (WARNING: the second search result, which is where I heard this, contains some language. Both of the videos are hilarious though, imo, and the first result does not contain any profanity)
Funny thing about older games... ha.. ha..., They aren't widescreen, and not meant to be viewed in this manner. Full Screen or a 4:3 ratio would make it look close to what is was originally.
So many people these days just don't care about aspect ratio anymore and are blinded by widescreen magic being "incredible." No offense intended. I honestly cannot watch this video unless I download it, and reset the aspect ratio to it's original form, produce that, then watch on my PC.
2.5 Billion years B.C.? They somehow got a zero too much on it, at that time there weren't even complex cells yet. 250 million B.C. though, there you had dinosaurs. Just wanted to point that out.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. This game is good, but the best beat em up of all time for me was Streets of Rage 2. Sitting with my friends playing it and occasionally during fights grabbing my friends character and using him as a human shield. It may sound cruel, but the fact I would do that rocked. I respect your opinion though.

I think it still holds true but I believe that the road runner and will-e-coyote are still the most violent cartoon. The difference between the games before and today (in my opinion). The games today is about competition, you wanna be better than everybody else so most people are serious about gaming. Back then you play for fun, back then there's no online play so you'll just worry about beating the game by yourself or with a friend.

That was a tough fight against slash. He took 3 of K-wing's lives and 2 of K-wife's. I always hated enemies that defended against your attacks. Including the reddish-pink foot soldiers.
I love this game! My cousin had a snes at his beach cabin and every second we weren't on the beach we were playing this. I would always be Don and he would be Leo. Sadly his cabin along with the super nintendo was destroyed in a hurricane, tho recently I found an snes at a garage sale and now I play it all the time! Sadly it didn't come with this game. I did see it online for 7 dollars. I will probably get it.

That was a tough fight against slash. He took 3 of K-wing's lives and 2 of K-wife's. I always hated enemies that defended against your attacks. Including the reddish-pink foot soldiers.

I love this game! My cousin had a snes at his beach cabin and every second we weren't on the beach we were playing this. I would always be Don and he would be Leo. Sadly his cabin along with the super nintendo was destroyed in a hurricane, tho recently I found an snes at a garage sale and now I play it all the time! Sadly it didn't come with this game. I did see it online for 7 dollars. I will probably get it.

No way to get it anywhere but Itunes atm. The TMNT game with the burning building is Turtles Arcade game and is 2nd TMNT game ever made. The 1st being the TMNT side scroller on Nes.
