Hey Everybody! I have just released my new electronic album “Sub-Zero” which is heavily influenced by the music of Akira Yamaoka. If you're interested you can listen to the full album on my youtube channel, as well as download the album for free!
To davyJones: can you play a longer version of this song at piano? You are not only talented but also one of the very few that know this song inside...
For the first part of it, do a C minor chord (C, E Flat, G, C) in the left hand...for the rhythm, use eighth notes all the way through (for this and the other parts of the left hand), and using the pattern of C for the first eighth note, E flat and G at once for the second, higher C for the third, E flat and G at once for the fourth. Repeat until it's supposed to change (listen to the song),
and then the four eighth notes are in order low b flat, f, higher b flat, same f as before... the last part in the sequence has four eighth notes of g, d, higher g, and same d as before. This pattern goes on for the entire song until the song changes key...
For the right hand until the song changes key, try to pick out the melody. It's generally based off of eighth notes and triplets...
there /are/ a few parts where the triplets in the right hand are juxtaposed over the left hand eighth notes. Sorry. It just takes practice :)
For picking out the melody, I suggest isolating one part, figuring it out, making note of it, then isolating another part...instead of trying to do it all at once.
god i dont think anybody can get those harder parts on just a piano unless they are really damn good at the piano...you came close and did a lovely rendition to it though.
i mean this in the best way even though it's gonna sound like an insult, but you have some scary hands man, their like skeletal but i bet their great for piano!
Does anyone know where I can download the instrumental version of Room of Angel? I know you can, but I just cant find it!

The left hand is pretty simple...

Out of tune and no technique...
You don't need to jump with left hand all the time, there are just 3 accords there.
Find original music and compare.
