I didn't see any in their hands. The chopper is two and a half miles away so they probably can't hear it or even know its there, so there probably minimum risk of it getting shot down by those guys. They could have waited for them so set up the roadside bomb first or until it looked like they were or maybe hiding so it looked like they were going to ambush so they were completely sure. They just shot those guys walking around in a field.
They had already observed them laying prohibited military weapons in the field. That made them enemy combatants. They COULD have waited, but they didn't... and there was no reason for them to. They identified the enemy and eliminated them.

Its all about the rules of engagement, in a war for hearts and minds its absolutely imperative we follow the rules of engagement whenever not in serious danger so we don't end up shooting innocent civilians and make more terrorists in the process. I didn't see any in their hands. The chopper is two and a half miles away so they probably can't hear it or even know its there, so there probably minimum risk of it getting shot down by those guys. They could have waited for them so set up the roadside bomb first or until it looked like they were or maybe hiding so it looked like they were going to ambush so they were completely sure. They just shot those guys walking around in a field.

They had already observed them laying prohibited military weapons in the field. That made them enemy combatants. They COULD have waited, but they didn't... and there was no reason for them to. They identified the enemy and eliminated them.

I thaught this vid was taken at the time of the invasion before there were "insuregents" this the same vid that was in michael moore movie way back before Alqayda and all the crap got into iraq (thanks to the invasion). I think these guys are likely to have been just regular iraqi soldiers who got killed simply because they were defending their country from invasion. The other explanation is they were just civilians. Also notice the "he's wounded... hit him" I think it is shameful.

Yeah im almost positive thats not an AC130 considering their weapons are side-mounted, and those arent 40mm. Its an apache and its stationary...I dont think an AC130 could hover...It would be badass but i just dont think so.
