I just beat the game yesterday and I was playing through again when the very first necromorph you encounter pops out of the vent then you have to run. Well I killed it and its body got stuck in the ground where it began to spin in a circle continuously so I got freaked out a bit and shot it a couple of times then got bored.

No offense, but these glitches were seen all the way from the very first game with ragdolls... from Max payne2 to GTA4

There is a funny glitch in DS though where the necromorph runs in circles

The reason why the hand is spinning is bacause it is within a surface. When it hits a surface it moves. When it is inside, the statement of hitting it is always set to true. That is why it doesn't stop

Interesting glitch, it's probably a collision error in the game engine. This one time, in chapter 5, with the insane doctor and regenerating necromorph, I opened up the door to a room, and walked into empty, blank space, and fell to my death outside the map. No joke, either!

Yeah I think I did the same thing, After you get the finalized toxin from the lab where you first encounter that damn monster, I grabed it and went out the way I came, but your supposed to go through the other door. I got Fuckin locked out, there was no way to kill myself. I only used one save slot and it autosaved after the door locked. I was playing on Impossible and I had to start the whole game over. That's bullshit.
